Similar situation. Person pretending to be Isaiah Davis from Gothenberg, Nebraska using the name Isaiah Davis. Asked me to send find to Zelle. Refused to allow payment via Paypal (With buyer protection). No record of their email or name on social media. Total scam.

Was under the impression that security deposits were being made to transport the puppy. A payment was put on hold with the bank and after talking to the bank, they were concerned with it being a scam since they were having the payments being made through Zelle. Each Zelle transfer had a different name associated. (James, John, Emmanuel, and Sezja.) When called to ask for proof that the puppy was in transit, he went quiet and said he'd call back. Never got a call back.

Me and my father were buying a puppy for my mom for Christmas and after we paid (through apple pay and zelle) we for the puppy “Jonah West” sent me a tracking number to a delivery site called Advanceprodelivery.com . That business called me and told me I had to purchase a new crate ranging from $800-$1200 in order for me to recieve my dog after paying the initial $700 payment. I spoke to “James Ford” (844)307-7427 and he explained he couldn’t take any pictures of the crate or the dog and he wasn’t able to contact the seller so it was no longer the sellers problem.
