I received an email to my Linked In Email account See below. This is a phishing scam. I never subscribed to anything here. If anyone asks you to go to a site to download a spreadsheet to cancel your subscription - this is a scam - they will install phishing applications on your computer.

I also received an email saying my free trial had ended and they would continue my subscription by charging $89.99. I don't know this company. I checked out their website still have no clue how they might have my information. I was happy to see someone else posted this is a scam so I didn't bother to call to cancel my so called subscription. i am writing this so other s will no too.

I received an email stating my trial was expiring in one day. Not know who they are much less authorizing a charge for $89.99 for nothing I have ever used, I called the number provided. Attempting to explain why I never authorized use of my card for this service, the person answering my call had a foreign accent and was not helpful except to tell me to go to their site, which I did a google search and did not find. I called 3 times only to be hung up every time I asked which card is being charged and that I would call my bank to cite this as a scam. The person I tried to speak with never gave his name. A pure BS scam. Beware, if you get the email, immediately protect yourself.

I received the same email today, I tried looking up the company and found this format to report a scam. I read through the experience of Private1614859492 and decided to flag the email and wait to see what happens.

We received an email stating a "free trial" that we never signed up for was about to expire and $89.99 per month would be charged. They gave only a phone number to call, in case we wanted to change or drop the subscription. The sign off was Blue Cart Service. After looking them up, and reverse searching the phone number, there is very limited information online about what this company ACTUALLY does. We went ahead and called the number listed in the email and, first spoke to a man with a very heavy accent about trying to cancel any subscriptions that may be associated with the email address. He claimed we needed to go to a website to unsubscribe. The website he gave was icartservices.net, and he would walk me through how to unsubscribe. At that time, I wanted to check the website out first, so I told him I would call back if there any problems. The website didn't have an obvious way to unsubscribe, so my husband called the number back, and a lady answered this time. She gave a different website to go to in order to unsubscribe, bluecartservices.net. When asked why we were given the icartservice.net website the first time, she claimed to not even know what that site was. I pulled both of them up on separate tabs, and they go to the same page. We were then told we needed to click the "Get BCS" button and put in the subscription / customer number, which we received in the email, and click the Unsubscribe button at the bottom. That's when it downloaded an Excel spreadsheet that we needed to enable content in order to Docusign documents stating, I guess, that we wanted to unsubscribe from this service they were still unable (or unwilling) to let us know what it was for. They kept pressing the issue that we would need to enable content on the spreadsheet and sign the form in order for them to give any information. After repeatedly telling them this was unlike any other trial subscription we've ever had to unsubscribe from and we didn't feel comfortable doing any of that, or allowing the content to be enabled, or signing anything, they just kept pushing the issued that that was "the only way". The only bit of information they gave was the name somebody apparently used to sign up, and is was not a familiar name. We tried to explain that they had the email address and the customer number, and US on the phone requesting to cancel any subscriptions open under our email, and they refused. I was then placed on a long hold to wait for a "manager" to speak with, who basically went through the whole thing again, and after I told her that I didn't feel comfortable and would be turning them in as a scam company, she cut the phone line off, mid-sentence. None of this sounds like anything a reputable company would do. Very frustrating waste of time, and we we're still not sure what information they would be trying get, what their "company" does, what, if any, accounts are tied to this, etc... It's placing a very uneasy feeling on us at the moment.

If they're trying to get you to enable macros on a spreadsheet, they're trying to run their malicious code to get onto your machine and do whatever they wanted (log passwords to your websites, download files, encrypt your files and ask for money, etc...)
