Since that time, I have never received access to the BWSO Academy Lifetime Membership that I purchased on July 2 or 3, 2023 in the amount of $700 via AFFIRM, an online payment platform. Not only that, but I still have two remaining payments due to AFFIRM for December 2023 and January 2024. It is SUPER FRUSTRATING to be obligated to pay for something I do not have, nor have ever had.
In the past few months, I have logged onto the AFFIRM website and explained this dilemma through its Help Desk seeking assistance with obtaining a refund of my $700. I was encouraged by AFFIRM reps to go through the Merchant.
I have reached out to BWSO Academy by logging onto their platform through Teachable, using that Customer Support (since that was all I had at the time) to request a refund of my $700.
Here is a brief history of my relationship as a Customer with BWSO Academy. The aforementioned provides a trading teaching platform which I signed up for in 2021. It was an annual membership of $200 and an automated payment. When BWSO Academy offered its "Lifetime Membership" at 90% off the original cost, which totaled $700, I decided to opt for that membership instead since my annual was set to renew in September 2023. To make the purchase of the BWSO Academy Lifetime Membership, I used my alternate email address of since the system would not allow me to upgrade using my existing email address. I reached out to BWSO Academy accordingly to inform them of my purchase and that I wanted to cease the auto-pay of my annual membership since I had purchased a Lifetime Membership through AFFIRM.
Harrowingly enough, I was NEVER able to access the BWSO Academy Lifetime Membership!! I reached out to BWSO/Lawrence E******** and informed more than once that the links to do so did not work! Finally, with no resolution after multiple attempts on my part and being ignored about this matter, I requested a refund of the ($700) BWSO Academy Lifetime Membership purchased through AFFIRM. Again, AFFIRM reps were saying I needed to seek my refund through BWSO.
When Lawrence E******** responded on 10/26/2023 with a response alluding that he had NOT in fact received payment on my behalf from AFFIRM, I was appalled!! He stated that he did not see my payment “on his end”. In response, I emailed documentation provided by AFFIRM proving that my $700 payment was sent and cashed out for the BWSO Academy Lifetime Membership by Lawrence E********. In addition, I forwarded copies of the receipt I received from BWSO for the $700 as well as a Welcome email from Lawrence E********’s email address.
And then Lawrence E********/BWSO Academy went silent! Stopped responding at all!
