Type of a scam Investment
I was interested in trying to invest some money, to see if I could get a decent return instead of letting the money rot up in the bank. Therefore I created an account at Axeinvest and the next day I was called up by a guy named David Hoffman, a very well spoken man and he asked me if I was interested in investing money in which I said yes and so I did, initially I only invested 500 USD to my account where he would be my account manager.
Those 500 USD he traded up to approximately 840 USD in only a few days, and then he called me back and told me how good everything looked and how good opportunities we had in the future, but 500 USD was nothing, I had to invest more money so he could create some real money.
We discussed it on a number of occasions, he even promised something called protected capital which meant that if the trading went badly, which he was sure it wouldn't, I would still be covered by the company and by his portfolio by the so called protected capital.
One part of the deal was that he would be in charge of the account, I was not supposed to do any trading or anything of that kind, that was up to the professionals as himself, David Hoffman.
Furthermore I asked about a future withdrawal of money, which he said on a number of occasions was no problem at all. I only had to make a withdrawal request and I would be contacted by the company as soon as possible. There was no fee included cause he took a small % of every trade he did on my behalf, neither was there any tax of any kind included in the withdrawal.
After a few days where he continuously called me and promised a lot and talked about opportunities and so forth, I called my bank and asked them to wire the money on my behalf, 10.000 USD, so now they had gotten 10.500 USD from me.
Two to three days later after I had sent an inquiry about the money, he called again and confirmed that the money had arrived, after that I never heard from him again.
Then suddenly I was called up by a guy who presented himself as Benjamin Moretti, now he somehow was in charge of my account and it was in his portfolio. I was at this time very suspicious cause the well spoken guy just disappeared, and suddenly somebody else from the company called me.
Therefore I was not very cooperative in any conversations we had, and soon this guy disappeared as well.
Then I was called up by a guy called Liam Green, now he was in charge of my account and it was in his portfolio.
He was also very well spoken and after some weeks my balance on the site showed approximately 50.000 USD. It varied between approximately 45-55.000 USD.
Liam green continuously called me and we talked for a while, I every single time told him to close all my positions that were in plus, a wish he never, not even once full-filled. Instead he asked me to invest more money.
One thing that every single time came up was that I had to invest more money, my balance was now on approximately 50.000 USD, so I had to be positive and invest more so I in the future could see real money, or so he said.
My answer was every time the same, I would not invest more money, end of story.
His reply was also always the same which was that he didn't mean that I had to invest more right now but in the future etc, then he continued to talk about how good every thing looked, my balance and so forth but I had to invest more money.
Again and again the same story.
I got angry on a number of occasions and told him very clearly that I would not invest any more money. This charade repeated itself something like 6-8 times.
At the end I got very angry and told him for [censored] sake to close my positions that were positive, and that I would never ever invest a single dime again to Axeinvest. He hung up.
Then suddenly my balance was 4.888 USD, my balance went from approximately 50.000 USD to 4.880 USD.
Then he disappeared, I never heard from him again, and some days later I was called up by a woman who represented herself as Jane Scott.
She started the conversation to blame me for the losses, in which I told her that the losses were absolutely not my fault cause from day one there was a crystal clear agreement about my account. I was not going to do anything about trading or anything of that sort, everything was up to the professionals at Axeinvest.
That she never accepted even though that was the case from day one. So after a few conversations she as well disappeared.
Then I was called up by a guy called Anthony, I never got his last name and he refused to give me his email address. The four others I had an email correspondence with as well as numerous phone calls, but this Anthony guy denied me his mail address.
He said he was from the recovery department of Axeinvest and that they needed me to invest something between 2.500 to 3.000 USD so they could purchase some tools to recover my loss.
I of coarse denied that, I would not make any deposit whatsoever and I said that very clearly. He immediately got defensive and provocative, and told me a lot of ridiculous claims.
Then I made a withdrawal request of that 4.880 USD that were still in my account, only to be called up by the same Anthony who now claimed that they couldn't go through with my withdrawal cause they had to pay 39% tax of the money and that was to much, which of coarse not only is a ridiculous claim, it's a total lye that everybody can see.
If 39% of 4880 USD is to much to pay, very well then how about 39% of 100.000 USD?
I asked him a number of questions like that but he quite simply didn't have any answers and therefore he told me stories that are so far fetched that it's ridiculous.
Then I asked him about the documentation of those 39% but of coarse he didn't have any answers whatsoever, the only thing he was capable of was to lye and deceive, and to be rude.
It is quit simply to long story to write everything here but he is probably a mentally challenged person cause he wasn't in any sense whatsoever able to behave himself, or just to be decent, he was rude, he was mocking, and then in the end he continuously called me and when I answered the phone he just hung up.
I know it was him cause he said a few words the first time and he called first from an Axeinvest phone number, but then he called from an unlisted number and every single time I answered, he just hung up just to call again in a few seconds.
The last time I spoke to Anthony "normally" I told him very clearly that he was not allowed to invest my money at all, but he still did it and now my balance at the time of writing is almost zero - so bottom line is that I have been scammed big time.
I made several complaints and sent them to [email protected] and to [email protected] but nothing matters.
I sent a few complaints were I very clearly stated that I was not in any way interested to talk to that mentally challenged guy called Anthony again, just to be called up again by Anthony.
I also stated very clearly that Anthony was not suited to be in charge of my account and that I didn't give him permission to trade on my behalf, but as with everything else regarding Axeinvest it doesn't matter cause he still invested and lost my money.
Hopefully I am the last person on earth to fall for that SCAM company, the so called Axeinvest.
