I received this offer through an email stating “All positions at Advanced Worldwide Express start with a 30-day probationary period. During the probationary period, your monthly salary will be $3300. Upon successful completion of the probationary period and passing the comprehensive evaluation, you will be hired permanently and at that point, your salary will be $3700. This is a work from home incumbent, where you’ll work from 9AM to 5PM your local time, Monday through Friday.” The supposed HR representative sent me the “payroll” email for me to provide my personal details associated with W9 paperwork. I did as instructed and the payroll department emailed back stating to confirm my address for my first paper check. The whole deal sounded too good to be true. I was skeptical but also hopeful that it was a legit operation. After looking online I didn’t see any reports of scam or any bad reviews so I continued with the opportunity. I worked through the full 30 day period sending multiple packages a week through UPS and FEDEX. Including Apple, Sony, Nintendo, meta quest products and more. My “supervisor” contacted me each day though the CRM database, which they provided my personal email and password to access, ensuring there were no issues receiving or sending packages. After the probationary period was over I received multiple emails stating my check was sent in the mail and to expect it within 10 business days as well as emails stating my probationary period was over and that someone would be reaching out to confirm the permanent position details. After about 3 weeks I didn’t not receive the check in the mail neither did I receive any further emails after reaching out for updates. It wasn’t until this point that I searched the web again for reports and am now seeing the two reviews of this being a scam. I am well aware of the multiple work from home scams and it did seem sort of sketch although after receiving the multiple packages it almost believed it to be true. Definitely won’t be falling for anything like this again. There were various other positions available through their website hopefully people are able to see this post and not fall for those as well
