A man named Anthony Ray reached out to my boyfriend in regards to a post my boyfriend listed about finding someone who sells French bulldogs. Anthony reached out stating he sells them and gave us the option of a cream french bulldog for 2k. He mentioned the dogs was only 5 weeks old and that I would be able to get February 5th when he is 8 weeks old. Also sent a bill of sale contract. He stated he does payment plans and needed a deposit for $300 to hold the dog. He harrassed us weekly about sending money until we finally reached 1k. I proceeded to ask him if I could see the dog in person before pick up and he sent me an address to a veterinarian and stated we could meet there at 10am. This would make the dogs 7 weeks and I was more than happy to ask the vet questions so i would know exactly what to do one week later when the pup is in my care. The day of the appointment Anthony sent a text saying the appointment was cancelled due to the vet getting covid. I proceeded to ask if I could see the puppy and he never responded. I contacted the veterinarian office and the vet stated no one at the office has covid and that they did not have any appointments under the name Anythony Ray and no french bulldogs were scheduled to be seen that day.
