I found this job on indeed and it was described as a data entry position. I aplied for the job and was emailed by a Jmaes Martinez regarding interview. He advised me to contact a Anna Reed ([email protected]) via Google Hangouts and inform her about the job posting so that we could proceed woth the interview. She asked standard interview questions and stated that i have the job. She then mentioned obtaining particular equipment, and that a check would be mailed to order that equipment. When I received the check on the following day, i went to the bank to make the deposit and was informed that the check was fraud! The telled stated that she’s seen a couple of these within the past week and that this is their way of obtaining bank information. Please advoid this company by any means!

I had applied for a position with them on Indeed. I received an Email from James Downey, who then told me to do a Google Hangouts interview with Julie Turner. The interview questions were somewhat standard, except they asked about my bank. I was hired pretty much on the spot. They told me they would send me a check via FedEx, which they did. It arrived the next day. I confirmed the amount, and went to the bank to deposit it. Two days later, I took an Uber to the bank to withdraw the funds, with instructions to follow. Fortunately, my dad charged in like a white knight (a bit embarrassing at the time) and talked to the bank teller and manager. He asked them if they saw things like this. They said yes, and earlier that week, someone came in with one for $10,000. He advised me not to do it. I told Julie that they wouldn't allow the withdrawal since the check didn't clear, and she blocked me. I'm waiting to see if Tuesday they do a stop payment on the check.

Same issue here. STAY AWAY from this company. Applied on Indeed. Was told to download the Google Hangouts app and contact a person by the name of Julie. I was asked standard interview questions but once I began to question her about healthcare benefits and who their healthcare provider was, I got no response and that was a RED flag so I went no further. I also noticed that the initial email I received was signed by KP Concrete LLC. When I looked up KP Concrete on Google there was a notice from the Better Business Bureau that stated that it was a fraudulent company doing business under the name of KP Concrete and not to apply for a job with Athenics.
