A young man came to my door saying that my other neighbors had all signed up for service with Aptive and that I would get a discount if I joined. I signed up but then found out that my neighbors had all been scammed. Apparently they had been told that I had signed up and that's why they signed up but that was before he even spoke to me. He misrepresented that we'd signed up. I called and tried to cancel and was put on endless hold. I finally got a hold of someone and they said I wasn't even in the system and they couldn't cancel. I placed a stop payment on the check. All of my neighbors are trying to cancel. This person lied about who had signed up, misrepresented the length of time he'd been working with my neighbors and I think everyone should know that this company is lying to customers and then not letting them cancel. We don't know if we've lost money yet because we don't know if they've cashed the check or not. We gave them a voided check. I called to stop payment in case they fill anything in.

Someone showed up at my door saying they were doing a neighborhood pest control and asked if we were interested. In fact, we were. I signed up and gave him my credit card. big mistake! Another guy showed up a few days later and the service was nothing like what we were told. I reached out to the salesman and he apologized and said they would be out the next day. Never heard from anybody again. Called all phone numbers associated with this company and cannot get through. I now have to cancel my debit card to make sure nothing comes out.
