5:30pm 1-929-397-2744; 6:07pm 1-786-843-4350. All these phone calls from Apple stated there was some unusal usage on our cell phone. We do not have any type of Apple device in our home or cell phones. I have not received anymore of these scam calls since Saturday but on Saturday, someone was really trying to make me pick up that phone. I have caller ID on my answering machine and that is how I was able to keep tract of all these numbers.

Received a call from this number that claimed to be from Apple Inc. stating that there was an issue with my account. The automated call advised me not to use any of my devices to prevent any issues

Supposedly my computer has been hacked. Info was transmitted to Apple. Apple personnel contacted me via computer generated message. The message stated that I was not to make any purchases using my computer until I contacted them to rectify the invasion of my personal information including credit card information.

I received 8 robo-calls on my home land line (AT&T) purportedly from Apple, Inc. with these caller IDs in quick succession:

504-830-1400 (1st) 2:39pm

410-972-3290 (2nd) 3:14pm

301-634-0880 (3rd) 3:33pm

410-423-1801 (4th) 3:59pm

843-727-0400 (5th) 4:52pm

864-987-7580 (6th) 5:20pm

801-456-9400 (7th) 6:15pm

703-215-7400 (8th) 7:23pm

The message left each time was:

“We have detected suspicious activity on your iCloud account. Your iCloud account has been breached. Before using any Apple device, please contact Apple Support Advisor. Press 1 to connect with Apple Support Advisor now. Or if you wish to contact us later, call 206-309-9231.”

I figured this was the typical “your computer has a problem” phishing scam and did not call back. The quick succession of calls was a new feature. I reported it to AT&T and to Apple.

For several weeks I have been getting calls from "Apple, Inc." on my land line. I thought it odd that Apple would be calling on the land line instead of my Apple cell phone. I did not answer and no message was left. Today, the call came again with a message they were calling from Apple Support Advisor and to call them at 518 730-1561 which I did. A female answered the phone and when I asked the nature of their call, she asked if I had a computer near by. I replied I had been scammed by a similar phone call several months ago. Upon hearing this she hung up. I do not know what type of scam they had in mind.

Bought computer protection and additional GB's for phone from Apple last year. Noticed storage on phone was low, advising "other" as category for taking up much of storage, and googled Apple Support Customer Service. 855-268-3227 number came up. Dialed and rep (scammer) accessed my computer to review service agreement on my desktop. Then brought up a screen which showed what he said were hackers with foreign IP addresses, in my computer and taking up my storage. He said that because it would be risky to use a credit card while the hackers were on my computer, that another form of payment could be used. He said it would all be refunded, however; due to the service agreement with Apple. I verified the last 4 numbers of my credit card attached to my Apple account. He said money would be refunded to this card. He provided that 805-242-9042 direct callback number if we were disconnected, and a website showing his name and employee ID, which no longer comes up. I used iTunes cards (had to go out and get them) to pay for the hackers to allegedly be removed, and immediately received text messages that the money was refunded to my card ending with the 4 digits. Scammer said hackers were now being removed, but while I was still out, would need another upfront payment to protect computer and to restore storage to phone, which would also be immediately refunded. Got more text messages regarding refund from Apple Inc after payment made with Google Play cards. Scammer then said I would be put through to refund department for finalization. Was put through to another scammer who said he could finalize refund, but that it would take more funds to do so. This is when I argued that I already received test messages on refund, and he said those were valid but needed payment for refund. Kept saying I have spent a lot, this sounds like a scam, and wanted to check my account at home. Advised I would not give next gift card number until I was at home and could get password to credit card account and check refund. Once at my laptop, he said it would take 5-10 minutes to process refund, which was not showing. I said I would call back and he answered at the 805 number and gave me a website with his name and employee ID on it. After giving final gift card code, he came back after being on hold for 5 minutes and said he could refund it back but it would take yet one more payment. It had been over 2 hours and he said he was going to refund me extra funds and supply me with Apple products as a courtesy. I cussed him out for awhile and said I just lost a lot of money I would never get back, that I was reporting this, etc. He eventually had no answers and asked why I didn't just hang up the phone. I want these scammers prosecuted.

We have received up to 10 calls a day and after 10pm even from a someone that says they are from Apple Inc.. Most all of them went to voicemail. The messenger is speaking in a foreign voice saying that the icloud has been compromised. Although we do have 2 ipads we thought it sounded funny and called the ScamPulse.com to check and they said it was in fact a scam. We did not lose any money. Just wish we could get them to stop calling us.

We received 7 calls (to my home phone) within 3 hours about a security breach with my iCloud account. 5 of the 7 calls left this computer voice message:

"Security breach detected in you iCloud account. Before using any of your Apple device, we strongly recommend you to talk to a support advisor. If you'd like to talk to a support advisor right now, please press 1. If you wish to hang up, press 2.

I have received 9 calls from someone today claiming to be from Apple Inc. and want to talk to be about a data breech on my computer. I don't have a computer. The caller id comes up Apple Inc., United and some just say Out of Area. The have left me many messages wanting me to call them back at 360-245-6944. I have not called them but I did call the ScamPulse.com and Apple to report it. Other friends of mine have been contacted too. Beware!!

- North Richland Hills, TX, USA

On 4/19 received 15 calls and voice mails (all with different numbers) claiming to be Apple Inc. Support. The messages left on our land line stated "your iCloud account has experienced suspicious activity. Call Apple Support Advisor at 510.248.4247." Contacted the REAL Apple Support and they informed me this is a scam. Scammers typically use the phone number of legitimate businesses as in the case. Most of the 15 calls I received were phone numbers of Apple Stores in AK, CA, LA AZ. Like other BIG tech companies, Apple does NOT call people out of the blue.

- Amarillo, TX, USA

We received 13 robotic calls in one day from a blocked number. A female voice left messages saying that our Apple Account had been breached and to press #1. We never answered the calls or called them back at the number they left 201-380-6029. My son came to visit and answered one time, pressed #1 and an male voice with India accent answered. My son told him we knew it was a scam and to quit calling. I called the BBB the next morning and explained the call in which they confirmed it was a scam and gave me some tips.

- Milwaukee, WI, USA

I received a recorded message saying that they were Apple Inc. and that my security on my i-cloud account was compromised. The recording asked me to press a number to speak to a representative, but because I am elderly and do not own any Apple products I hung up. I was told that the number was spoofed.

- Lockwood, NY, USA

Called twice in one hour stating "Apple i-cloud account compromised". I have NO Apple accounts. Then State they are trying to help me because people 'over seas ' are monitoring Everything I am doing on my Windows computers and if I would just access my computer while on the phone with them, they will help me protect my information. Advised several times that I do not want them to call me. Argues repeatedly that I need their help. Advised I am on Do Not Call List, continues to argue and will not agree to remove my number.

My grandmother is receiving up to 11 calls a day from “Apple, Inc.” claiming a breach of her iCloud account.

Same # keeps calling, 7 times today. I can not get the # because it is a business phone. Caller has called 7 times today & 10 times on Friday!!

"Harassment" refers to a broad number of behaviors that are subject to both criminal punishment and civil liability. On the criminal side, states have a wide variety of criminal laws forbidding harassment in many forms, including general harassment crimes as well as specific forms of harassment, such as stalking and cyberstalking.

I have been receiving calls from a 312-777-4200 6 times today 12/28/2017, caller Id says Apple Inc. on my home phone. Automated voice gives instructions to call 844-562-2344. warning of a security breach with my Apple account. I called the number to see who they were and asked them some questions like who am I, what is my number, what is my Apple Id. I asked all the questions did not answer anything from them. Told them I was going to report them cause I know they are scammers they then hung up on me.

I then called the real Apple to report it, giving them both numbers. Apple stated they do not make random calls and generally will not call you unless they are doing a follow up. DO NOT give these people any information not even your name!

They have called us several times a day stating that our I Cloud account has possibly been accessed illegally and in order to find out press 1 immediately to talk to a representative or call (866) 987-1819. My husband did call back and they asked him to get on his apple I Cloud account so they can fix the problem. He told them that he was not comfortable with doing this and then hung up the phone. We then looked into this matter further and found out that it was a scam. They continued to call back several times after this.

I had an OS third party crash on my iPhone 6. While using Google to search. Screen froze had message to call Apple at 866-254-7409. I tried several times. I finally left a message for them to return my call, the return call was a recorded option. My call was not returned. Today I called and was told they would return my call. The return call came from 844-629-0634. A "John White" was the name the caller used (thick accent) said to buy $100 ITunes gift card from specific stores, I'd be reimbursed, had to do it soon or my phone would crash, losing all info. (???)
