I purchased multiple Antminer models E9 and S19 Pro from the web addresses listed above. The sites seemed reputable, and customer support, via webchat, seemed very personable and responsive and very knowledgeable about the products I sought. Their English writing was good as well. Not broken as often seen in scams. This business showed up in the first results from both a Google and Yahoo web search using terms Antminer S19 and E9. This caused me to think they are frequented often and thus likely reputable. The business had a ScamPulse.com A+ rating signage on their website. I received invoices after payment but never received the products. The business stopped communicating once payment was made.
They only accepted cryptocurrency payments via the http://www.coinpayments.net website. The CEO mentioned they could only receive cryptocurrency due to their required contract with Bitmain, the manufacturer of the Antminers. They later said they could accept direct wire payments as well.
I should’ve known better and did more research ie. Actually searched the ScamPulse.com website to confirm this business and checked more reviews of the websites. I did see a few reviews that were more good than bad which made it appear acceptable. The more I researched after the purchase the more I found suspicious reviews, but nothing conclusive, accept on Bitmain’s website which said they don’t have any contracts with distributors/ resellers. There was also A Whois search that shows the registrar for both domain names used by this business is NameCheap, Inc. which other search results show to be one of the most common registrars of fraudulent websites. Both domain names listed above for this business show to reside at an address in Iceland. Likely not the real address.
Definitely steer clear of these websites and take the extra time to do your research. I hope the authorities find these fraudsters and give them years behind bars. I’m not sure I’ll ever see my money again. I lost a lot.
