I called the number, they asked to connect to my computer, I allowed them to. They renewed my Webroot, I received email notifications that my Webroot had been renewed.
They also wanted to sell me a product that I'd never have to renew for $799.00. He said my IP was located in over 30+ locations and this product would protect my IP. I said no, I wasn't interested.
I called a family member, who looked up the phone number I dialed and said it wasn't Webroot. It is a company named Antimalware Expert - www.antimalwareexpert.com.
I logged into my webroot account and my subscription did renew today. But Webroot support said they don't offer any package for $799.00.
