Thank you so much, Anthony and A.G.E. I Just receive my money this money, best experience is 110% recommended

I was contacted by a Shawn Ryan, that I had won a drawing from the Department of Charitable Gaming of the American Wish Giveaway. This was because of my donations to organizations. Later that day I received a call from a John Seeba, who supposedly was the head of the organizations. Later I received a call from a Scott McDowell who explained he was with the company who is responsible for making sure the winner gets the money. The amount is $3.5 million but I have to pay a registration fee of 1% of the amount of the win. When I told then I couldn't afford that Mr. Seeba and Mr. McDowell both said there was a way that I could get a grant to cover most of the fee, still leaving $1,275.00. I was told to get a cashiers check for that amount and send it to the Liability Corp, Vanir Capital LLC at 645NW 1st Street, Unit 12, Miami, FL 33128. A company based in Lagos, Nigeria( SCAM alert. Did not receive any of the letters that they said they sent (SCAM). Being a 76 year old with a husband suffering from terminal cancer, I don't have the $1,275.00.

Sean Ryan of some supposedly Gov dept phoned first. They have been trying to contact me for months. Sent me letters (never received) I have won 3.5m I need to phone Roger Seely 888 770 6063 to confirm my case number. Roger got round to saying I had to pay over 7k to the govt. I asked for written info. He said he would send email. None received. Still waiting. I know it must be a scam.

Sarah McCleary (not sure of spelling) called to say my elderly mother won a cash prize. That American Giveaway Enterprises does a giveaway every 3 months. They get a donor list from the American Charity Association and enter the donor's name into the giveaway.

Then she said a government worker named ANTHONY GARCIA is assisting the gaming industry to validate the prize. And, that mom has to put her information on record as part of claiming the prize - and oh by the way there is a **processing fee** (FRUAD ALERT!) for this registration process.

Sarah didn't know the amount of the processing fee (why not Sarah? Shouldn't you have that information along with the prize amount?) and was going to call Mr. Garcia to get the amount and call me back. SCAM!

Sarah said that we pay the processing fee upfront then 2 days AFTER the check is paid to the Federal Government mom would be reimbursed for that fee.

Sarah refused to give me the name of the company that does the "processing work" unless we were going to claim the prize. I said yes we are claiming the prize now - today - so what is the fee amount and the name of the company that will do the processing? And that's when Sarah said she was waiting for a call from Mr. Garcia with the processing fee amount so she'd call him now then call me back. Total scam.

As if in good faith I'm going to mail a check to some company I've never heard of and then wait for my reimbursement from the American Giveaway Enterprises.

The "company" has a website. But it is not hard to create a website for a fake company, that doesn't prove anything. On the company website (https://www.americangiveawayenterprises.net/ ), it says they are Better Business Burea accredited. But on the BBB website, this company is not in the BBB directory but it does come up in the scam tracker - https://www.bbb.org/scamtracker

Did you ever hear back?

Got a call - months after getting a series of calls - that my win of $3.5 million from American Wish Giveaway was going to expire unless I provided the info they needed. The call was from a Mike Thompson 1-757-740-5663, who says he's from the Federal Division of Gaming Enforcement.

This business attempted to scam two elderly individuals out of $35,000 because they “won a sweepstakes”. But to get said funds, they needed to do several steps including sending a certified check to another state which was not the same state the call came from or the location of said business. The caller also claimed to be a “federal agent”. Scam was identified by grandchildren before the individual targeted lost any money.
