Received a message on Messenger from a friend about the opportunity to secure a grant of $150,000 For a fee of $3000 if I qualified. I am 82 years old and not easily scammed. The Message on Messenger was a phony I now find out because my friend was hacked. This has gone on for a full month and have asked me to send $500 Apple Gift Cards to them to secure my "winnings" which I did. One day they would say that "tomorrow you will get your winnings but the next day was that I owed more money. I threatened to report it to the authorities as a scam and starting last night have gotten texts from supposed FBI agents telling me they found my name on scammers lists and are ready to help me get my money back. These "agents" turned out to be phonies. I could tell by their diction and use of words. They have refused to return my money sent and I have told them that I will vigorously pursue this.
