Fake Checks.
Guy's name is Gilbert Dixon that I was "interviewing" with which was set up by a "Mrs. Karen Emery", they texted my phone for an interview, wasn't even very descriptive. Pretty vague to be quite honest. I was instructed to go to "Wire Secure Messenger" to install an app for the interview. Looked it up and the app itself is legit.

During the interview, they pretty much copy/pasted what you can find online.
Their portrait picture wasn't changed. As if the account was created a few minutes ago and the default river picture everyone starts with was left there.

What really caught me off guard was I don't remember ever applying to this company in the first place. Fedex dropped a "check" off today for $4988.00 but I called to supposed issuing bank and they said is was fake. These people will be held accountable for what they are doing.

I received a package from monument health the upon opening the check was from the oklahoma county of corrections. weird right? my friend was in fraud and she helped notice that the check routing number was in the wrong place for the bank. they could have had me submit payment to my bank and i wouldve gotten in trouble! please be careful what you accept from ANYONE!

Copy/Paste Responses

Received a text to download “wire” app and contact Christopher Turner for a job interview. After that the interview was done on Wire. The next day I was told I was being offered a customer service job for $45/hr which is more than the original $35/hr. I was then sent a check for $4900.00. I was told each day to contact this man at 8am for my next assignment. I was to print the W-4 and job offer, sign, and return to this man. Thank goodness my bank put a hold on this for 2 days. This man also said the money was for software and other equipment for my home office.

Just got a request that sounded fishy at the get go. Offered $30 for a customer service/receptionist/data entry from a guy named Scott Raymond at 531-221-2620. He doesn't have a job description at all. Thanks guys for the heads up here!

The whole interview was done via Skype. I was offered a position at $29/hour. Then I was sent a check for $3450.15 and when they asked me to turn around and purchase software for $500 immediatly. I said I need to wait for their check to clear before I am doing anything. After that, he said I needed to be online at 8am to start working even though I said I wasn't doing anything just yet. I also called the phone numbers and none of them work. I asked for a number to call and was told they would be calling me after I paid for my materials.

This is a scam. I paid to pull a report and the phone numbers do not match any of the real phone numbers in Switzerland. Not to mention the Switzerland main number has been disconnected.

I asked the person to call me and that was the last I heard.

This text and Whatsapp is phishing you. Delete right away and do not give any info.
Beware!

They used whatsapp and asked me a series of question. Then it got a bit uncomfortable. The person speaking Jessica Morris was using a Kathleen's phone number and what's app using a 6146187611 phone number. They asked me to be on whatsapp at 8am for training, offer letter and pay. It was a lengthy set of questions. They said they in where in ID but they weren't.

They sent me a text message offering a job for $45/hr, it sound it good, but they start asking for weird questions, when I ask for the job description, they wanted me to give them my wasupp information, which it sound it very weird, when confronted it they stop talking. Be aware of this scam, i think they want personal information to steal it.
