This company presented to me as if they were allied Vanlines.

We like to move our belongings from New Jersey to South Carolina.
The initial quote Ted(the sales representitive) provided was $5155 on 10/27/2021.
We made a deposit of $1923.59.

We decided not to move sofa, dresser, nigh stand, bookshelf and tv stand.
We sold them, so we have far less items to move.
3 days before the move, Jack from quality assurance called and increase
the price to be $7475 and then down to $5988,
We are very upset and wanted to cancel the service, Since they want to charge more with less items 3 days before the move.

I have lost trust in them and are afraid that they will change the price on the day of move again.
So I decided to cancel, they refused to refund any of $1923 deposit.

Safe yourselves, don't hire them.

This is a fake company that is associated with and likely created by Gavin Cain of Delray Beach, FL. Gavin Cain also created the website and LLC : https://www.movewithmayflower.com/ His scam is centered around creating names for fake companies that are close to real company names, registering them and getting MC and DOT numbers. He takes people's money and does not move any items. Claims the deposits were non-refundable but never makes an effort to actually get movers for clients. Claims to be broker but just takes money. Works with at least 2-3 others, perhaps more. May have additional fake companies, these are the two that are linked. Review that is now since cached on moving website states client spoke with Gavin Cain and other people at supposed business before client was scammed. This is the only location I have found that actually lists the scammer's real name.

I called them because I had to be out of my apartment at a certain time any they said they would come on July 31st but they didn’t come I had a flight booked on that Monday August 2nd so now I had to pay another months rent and find another moving company and I still hadn’t gotten my money back of $1198.00

I needed to schedule a move from NY to AL. This company presented to me as if they were allied Vanlines. I scheduled my move and three days before the pick up date they called to tell me that my quote was wrong due because they put in the wrong number of cubic feet for the truck, then increased my price $3,000. I tried to cancel and get a refund at this point and they told me they do not offer refunds and to read the contract. I never signed a contract and they did not have it to send to me. The day before my move the manager called and told me the truck was in an accident and they would have to reschedule even though I was flying out the next night. Later when I spoke to the same girl she told me she was not the manager and that the truck driver actually had “stupid covid.” When I called her back her voicemail stated that she worked for Manchester Moving Company. When she called me back she pretended to be another person and stated it was not her problem if I didn’t get to move. Later in the phone call when I asked her name she confirmed she was the same girl I had been speaking with. She was going to get the money either way. They never showed up for my move. I looked on their reviews page on Yelp and found many stories that were the exact same

This "company" collected a $600 deposit from my fiance and me. They claimed that he refused service and told us that we would have to reschedule at a date past our lease end date. He also received a text from a "mover" who claimed that their truck "broke down". I read other reviews and it seems like this company will often collect deposits and then never show up to perform the service that they claimed they would. Please make sure that no one else is harmed by this company.
