I keep getting emails indicating that I need to update the payment method for my account, doesn't indicate which account, or I will lose all my files and account will be locked. There are always attachments which I have not opened for fear that there is a virus attached. I have gotten a number of the same type of email all indicating that unless I update my payment method by tonight at midnight, I will lose everything saved. The deadline always passes and nothing has happened yet but the messages become more and more urgent each time they are sent.

How can I tell when an email is legitimate or an attempt to hack my account?
