Received a mailed letter to our home address. No company name, address or website for sender. Contact office number: 800 933-9818, even a second number for Spanish!

Listed CST (Central Standard Time) call back office hours.

Phony Property code

Stated current warranty (there is none) is secured by our bank (Wells Fargo BK NA) and about to expire. 21 days to respond.

Note - no outstanding mortgage on property

We had a Home Equity Loan about 40 years ago with a specific bank and the letter we received told us that our home warranty was about to expire and that by calling a specific number we could reinstate our warranty. We knew it was fraudulent because we had no warranty on our home (it has been paid off for years). But all the information on the letter was correct (i.e. location, bank address and loan holder). Read carefully and check with your bank if you are suspicious. Did not call the number but suspect they would try to sell us something!

I received a letter from United Community Bank in the mail stating my home warranty was almost up and I needed to renew it or be liable for all costs associated with any home repairs. I called the phone number listed on the paper which was 800-933-9818. I received a spam call after I talked to these people. I then called ucb and bbb to inform them about the letter. Thank you.
