I received the exact same email today along with the Microsoft Teams conversation. The exact same back and forth dialog with Mr. James McDaniel.

Really upset because I need a job . This is really offensive but I do appreciate your submittal.

The available positions are Data Entry Specialist, Office Manager and Scheduling Coordinator. Pay is $35 an hour. The job requires that you work from home. Do you have any issues with working from home? which of these positions matches your field of specialization?

Got a text message stating "Here are the available positions: Payroll clerk , data entry and data analyst pay is $35/hr This is an online work-from-home job position where you can choose to work from anywhere of your choice, and the company will provide you with all necessary materials that you will need to work from home, including a PC. Adequate training with well-paid training hours is guaranteed. I am also working from home for the company currently. Do you think you would have any problem working online from home? Right away I was set up for an "Interview" on skype with a James McDaniel. I had a feeling this was a scam and after research other said the same thing. So, in skype Messager I said I was ending this interview and he logged off without saying anything.

Then the company Skyped - messaged me for an interview. After the acceptance employment letter was returned to them, they sent me a check via email for $4600 for equipment and in return wanted me to send them money for the software.
