Now Melissa Wittruck's Selling African Grays
She and her husband Robert, probably not his real name. Well they stole money and pretend to never receive it, once I sent payment.

Melissa responded that the puppy I was interested in was available and I would need to send $400 deposit to reserve puppy until I could pick up next week. I asked questions about the puppy, which she answered, things still seemed legit at this point. I told her I could put the deposit down today with my credit card but was instructed that they only accept Zelle or Apple Pay. I have bought various other items this way so it didn’t seem irregular to me. Still no red flags to me. I asked if I could meet her and pick up puppy myself instead of shipping the puppy as is mentioned on website. Melissa said that would be fine, since we are only a couple hours from each other. I asked her for more pictures and or videos of the puppy. Her reply was that once she received the deposit she would then send pictures to my email. This should have been a red flag to me, but like an [censored] I just chalked this up to a seller wanting to make sure I was truly interested in the puppy first. So I sent the $400 deposit through Zelle as requested, and sent Melissa the screenshot of confirmed payment. Melissa said she was still waiting to confirm payment and that she would get back to me shortly. This is when the texts started sounding weird and misspelled. I then typed in yorkiepuppy4homes and scam into search bar of google and found lots of complaints of this being a scam. I immediately texted her back expressing my concern about what I discovered. Melissa assured me this was just fake reviews about their website and that she wished she knew who these people were so that she could sue them. I then texted and emailed her requesting a refund of my deposit because I felt very uncomfortable about the situation. What upsets me the most is that I can’t believe people will hurt others like this, scam people out of money this way. Especially when this puppy was for my 4yr old daughter. It breaks my heart and is infuriates me that now I have to explain to my 4 yr old that not only is her mother a naïve [censored] but that also she’s not getting the puppy she chose. I feel like such an [censored]. Hopefully I can get my money refunded through my bank. I’m so sick about this.

I was interested in buying a yorkie puppy and filled up an application , I got a call at 3: 00 am to which I did not answer as I did not recognize the number , they called 5 X . The next morning I checked my phone and Melissa left a message to check my email .I was advised to send the money Via Zelle , I did but I told them I won't be able to send the money right away as I'm working and would be able to send the money in two days , I called and called their number and a recording says they are not able to take calls and just leave a message , I then ask a friend to accompany me to the address that the said is their store but I was shocked to see the address is a Japanese noodle shop in San Francisco ! Clearly a scam !

This requires to complete and answer some questions about me and my family. Example: do we have children if so ages and are they good with pets etc. there main concern was placing the puppies in a good home. After completing the questions I submitted to them I then received a message wanting my information name, address, telephone number and $350 for processing the papers for the puppy with the agency. That is what I was told after questioning why are they wanting money when they originally said willing to adopt the puppies out to a good home. I was informed that the puppy will have to have a veterinarian test done at the check point located in Denver, Co. Nothing was mentioned about possibly having to pay out more money if the puppy would require more shots. But via email we were being asked for an additional $1055 for 4 vaccinations and a special crate. The money for the crate would partially be refunded to us after the delivery of the puppy. $530 the. Rate cost and $350 would be refunded. Well I informed the person we were not going to pay that amount of money because we didn’t have that amount. A man calls me and says it’s his fault he has never experienced anything like this and he is willing to pay for the vaccines. He stated he would pay $750 and all we would have to pay is $250 which we would get back after the puppy has been deliver to us. So we paid $250 from our credit card. Knowing better we sent the card information to the owner of the puppy. My boyfriend check his card for the payment and notice a few transactions for $2 had been taken from Facebook he placed a hold on all transactions for that card and we have been calling and emailing these people for an update of the puppies location and no answer. The location of these people they claim to be at is Chicago, IL is the residence. Also Mokena, IL is the residence. The shipping company location Denver, CO. The name of the people involved Anna Rountree, Ani Mogan, Amanda Lynn Aldaba, Janell Harris, shipping company contact. Emails used [email protected], [email protected], telephone #s 347-913-0936 person, 970-648-0520 shipping company number. BE CAREFUL THEY ARE GOOD. THEY CONSTANTLY CALLED US TO MAKE SURE WE WERE BEING UPDATED BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY. Although we weren’t they were. After the people contacted us then an email was received with an update of the puppy. We could not reach a live person at the shipping company but they had no problem. We have many different documents they provided us but when we tried to verify the information results were not found. We are taking our information to the authorities for further investigation.
