They send me a text message stating I was 1 of 821 picked visitors. I clicked the link and took me to the survey with 6 minutes left to take the survey. The survey is about 5 Questions then you get to choose a prize. They are all really great prize. I choose one and it asked for name email and phone number. Good thing I scrolled to the bottom of the page where it tells me that I agree to sign up for a fitness program it’s a 1 week trial for $49.97 and after trial the monthly charge is 89.97.
I put the pictures don’t fall for this scam tell your family especially our older family, they tend to be more trustful.

Dear Client,

At Walgreens, we are constantly trying to improve our service and would like to hear your feedback on how we performed.

The survey is short and will only take 2 minutes to complete.

We appreciate your partnership and collaboration.

I copied and pasted the scam survey I received. I am receiving at least one a week now. The above is the email address it was sent from. That I copied and pasted too. Walgreen's needs to do more about this. Other companies have dedicated email addresses you can directly forward the scam email/survey to. Walgreen's should have one too and being doing more about this ever increasing problem. It makes their customers feel like this doesn't matter to them and it should matter.

Same overall scam most are reporting here, though the one I received contained a link to a domain that's slinging malware.

I didn't click it.

- always expand and look at the 'from' field. Usually these scammers, spammers and overall [censored]-heels will be sending from an account that looks really odd, like '[email protected]' - the topmost name you see is the name they want you to see like 'Walgreens Survey Company' with the real sender hidden hidden in the collapsed 'From' field.

Mine called themselves 'Maynard Keynes', which I guess is someones attempt at being witty. I happen to know who Maynard Keynes is/was, so it was amusing to be receiving a Walgreens Survey request from beyond the grave from a famous economist. Lol.

Also, always report these chodes to the email service that they're abusing, like gmail. It probably wont matter in and of itself, but, you'll be helping to build an overall picture of these [censored] weasels, which can be acted upon once it's complete enough.

I assumed this was legit since my rx just started going to Walgreens. After survey I had choice of 9 things to choose from and pay $1 shipping. One item was for a drawing to get an Ipad. Today an $89.95 charge showed up in my account. It was from a company called Trusonfit.co and had a phone number. I called the number and was told I purchased a digital fitness app and would be charged that monthly! I finally got the guy to cancel monthly charges and then he said he'd refund 25%, then 50%, then 75% and if I agreed on a recorded line to take no further action he'd refund 100%. I'm talking to my bank now. Boy do I feel dumb.

I got a text to do a Walgreens survey. Have taken 1 before. When I took the prior survey I could pick the offer I wanted. I chose 1 and paid the shipping and handling charge and received the chosen item for price listed as pay shipping and handling . This survey says pay shipping & handling $2.95. They tried to charge me $49.89.

Reviewed the email saying take survey win a prize. Did the survey and CONGRADULATION ..You have won a gift serval prizes I could get for shipping $6.95...For a Dyson11 cordless hand vac. Just saw this Vac on one of the shopping channels and smelled a scam. Look at terms yes s/h $6.95 but will be charged more later which would cost more than what shopping chanel was selling it for. BEWARE LOOK AT TERMS OF BUYING BEFORE CHG IT. I KNOW GET A PREPAID CARD LOAD IT WITH $20.00 SEE WHAT HAPPENS?

This is a scam! They draw you in with a survey on your Walgreens experience for a $90 prize that you have to pay shipping on. Only after you have selected one of 8-10 prize options and put in your information and payment does it show terms and conditions. Then they show you the terms and conditions. You are paying for a “ship now pay later” service that charges you full price for product in next month then in my case $59.99 per month thereafter. I called my card company for a new card and reported the fraud. STAY CLEAR. See pics below...

I recieved an email for a job offer as a mystery shopper. The email claimed that it was from Walgreens, but the from field did not have a Walgreens email. The to field also was not the email address it was sent to. Upon clicking the link, it opens a page to fill in your information such as name and address. Address was spelled wrong as "adress." That as well as the email to and from fields were suspicious. After googling Walgreens secret shopper email, I found a Walgreens website link (https://www.walgreens.com/topic/topic/fraud_information.jsp) and it says "While legitimate mystery shopping opportunities exist, Walgreens does not utilize these types of programs for our business. If an offer to be a mystery shopper at Walgreens is received, please be advised this is not a legitimate job opportunity and likely a scam."

I applied for a secret shopper with Walgreens via email which displayed the Walgreen's logo. The scammer texted me after I inquired into a check I received federal express from Evanco Realty advisors inc in san diego ca. The amount of the check was $957.70 and I received an email explaining how to spend the money at Walmart for Gift cards and provide them pictures of the codes once purchased. I contacted Walgreen's fraud department.

Under guise of customer survey from Walgreens offering free product in return for participation, the free product offer turns into a BAIT & SWITCH SCAM TO CAPTURE CREDIT CARD INFO. The product I clicked on is called "Verutum" or "Verutun..." I want no product and further communication from these people whoever they might be.

They called saying they were with Walgreens health care wanting to get both my credit card I used again and my health health insurance information after verifying my name, birthday and address.

The email from someone named Jennifer Gordon had a subject line which read "your recent walmart purchase." It then offered me a $50 gift card for taking a survey. I didn't take the survey since i didn't make a purchase at walmart in more than a year.

I can' believe i fell for this. I was just at Walgreen's today so it was on my mind. I get home check my emails and there is one from Walgreen's saying they want to give me a free gift if i fill out a survey. I did the survey and they had 4 gifts. I ordered the face cream for mom. When I read the disclaimer it turns out that this is a free sample and if I don't return it in a certain amount of time they charge full price $126.99 then put me on a monthly purchase list for $90 a month. There is not way to order it except rush which was only $3.95 plus the $4.95 reg shipping. I didn't realize it wasn't Walgreen's until i tried to go back on it and it says congratulations you've been chosen to take a chrome survey for a free gift. I've since gotten four more emails for four different surveys. They all have different online addresses.

Just so you are aware Kristi, Walgreens is not affiliated with the scammers that use these types of scams. The scam is fairy basic. It works for alot.of big box and national retailers that most of us patronize at least a couple times a year. For future reference any email, text, or DM from anyone claiming to be soliciting your information, or promise something for basically.nothing. They just want as much info as they can get about you. If you do this from.your device, it can add malware and allows hackers to gain access to your information. They will have you pay shipping for something that is worth 50$-100$ and you just pay shipping. Other common platforms is to sell.you something as a cheap trial.and then send reoccurring bills monthly until.you can get the card or account secure or cancelled. When they say "If it sounds too good to be legit, then it is [censored]." IT'S EASY TO GET FOOLED. I AM AN IT Network security tech and even I have been fooled.too and I know the signs. I tried to buy a pair of Maui Jim's for 40 bucks on clearance. The site was identical to the actual online page. The email was spelled out with an extra character that was hard to catch. I look at website addresses when I buy things. Another thing to do is purchase through PayPal. If it is a scam you will.get your money back. You have to do some legwork and provide proof of the illegitimate purchase. Which kinda sucks because if you fill out the forms on the internet security government site for online scams. I ran a trace rt on the the site and I was able to locate the actual IP address that the machine was sending the emails from. So hopefully.they put an end to it.But I received my money back. Anyhow, don't buy anything with your bank card. Get a prepaid card and add only what you need or see if your bank can provide a virtual card number that cannot be used for reoccurring charges. I suggest prepaid card for all of your online purchases. Then they won't have access to your bank account. But ya this sucks. I always run these things through Google and see if there are any sites that talk about the scam in question. In this case there are too many to count.

I also fell for this one. Also thought I was getting a free sample, just pay shipping and handling. Then they charge my card for over $111. All sales are final the customer service person kept telling me. I didn't ask for anything other than a "free sample". I should have known there was going to be an issue when I submitted for $7.95 shipping and handling and next thing you know there was an additional charge for a second item. I tried to cancel right away when I saw that, but it was already confirmed and coming out of my bank account. I figured lesson learned... shouldn't have done it. Never expected an additional charge for $111! Walgreen's should be ashamed for being connected to something like that. Bad business practice. Because of this - I'll no longer shop at Walgreen's.
