SCAM ALERT

First off the VIN that you end up running for the vehicle you're searching for is wrong. It's made up information.
According to their website they charge $1 for VIN verification of any vehicle. They then tried to charge me $29.95 within minutes of signing up on their page.
This is without a doubt 100% scam page

Total SCAM

Tried to cancel my account over the phone but the Autobot just disconnects you every time. Emails bounce back. This is a fraudulent and scam company. I always use a debit PayPal card specifically for online purchases in case I run across something like this and here we are. Within minutes they tried to charge me $29.95 after offering their service for $1. Card is canceled and I caught this fraud within 15 minutes. Always use a card you can cancel immediately and not a card tied directly to your major banking institution.

I should have run a Google check first... My first mistake. Won't happen again

A follow up as I forgot to add pictures to show where they say it only cost a dollar but charged me $29.95 within minutes. I caught it quickly and once they were not able to get that money from me they canceled my subscription

Absolute Scam

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! I’ve been trying for two years to cancel this damn thing! Only wanted one report. Paid the $1 then they billed me for $24.95. Called and emailed to only get the run around from their customer service. Had my bank deal with them. Fast forward a year later, I get billed again! Called yet again, this time the customer service was even worse. Again, Bank dealt with it. Here we are 2 years later, they charged me .97 then a week later $24.95. They operate under different names and every time they charged my card, it was a different company name each time that showed on my bank charges. Most recent name is: carvintracker.com

Address listed on the site is a home address and no such name of the company anywhere on the web, company tax info or the BBB. Finally had to cancel my card they kept charging. As of 2/23/23, got an email from them stating the following:
Your subscription has been cancelled and your account will no longer be charged. If you have any questions or queries, feel free to contact us at supportatvehiclehistory.us.org, or by phone at 1-800-856-7198

Guess what, this number is no god and the email bounces back. My bank must have tracked them down.

Another name that showed up on my bank charges was: searchfinder.com. Never signed up for this service.

They [censored] of the earth and we all should file a lawsuit against this company for fraud and theft!

Agreed to the $1 fee then was charged multiple times after that for various amounts up to $179 and sent emails to support asking for immediate refunds only to receive an automated email stating my account has been cancelled . Even the report was false and claimed my vehicle was stolen . Pure scam nothing less than theft using this site . Thankfully I used a prepaid card which didn’t have enough cash for their attempts

CALL THE FTC

Unfortunately, I had to work with this company and deal with these issues and I feel so bad for what they are doing to these customers. We are limited on what we can do on our end as customer support
. I was made aware that what they are doing is AGAINST THE LAW. The Federal Trade Commission also requested that we give these callers this phone number 1-877-382-4357 and reportfraud.ftc.gov so that they can also file complaints. If there are enough complaints this will provide the FTC with enough to be able to file a class action suit. Since Im not able to express this to the customers I wanted to post this here! Please everyone call this number and report them so we can eliminate their shady practices!

I should have known better but I bought a $1 VIN report. 2 days later they hit my credit card for $25. Got in touch with them & they agreed to cancel and refund. That never happened. 3 weeks later another $25 charge, again promised to cancel and refund. Started fraud report & now we wait. Like the old saying goes, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

It’s a pure scam website with customer service, and automatically reply setups. Just be careful with free or super cheap offers, mostly they are scams.

I'm an international student from pueblo colorado trying to get a car and I googled this page, saw highly positive(fabricated) reviews, and paid $1 dollar to be charged $25.95. I have asked them for a refund by calling their toll-free number but is yet to be reimbursed!

I ordered a 1x VIN history report on a vehicle I was interested in purchasing at a used car dealership. The marketing is extremely deceptive from this company. I purchased a 1X report for $1.00 after reading the reviews and believing it was a legitimate site. The online ads that led me to this site were for free VIN checks. There are other legetimate sites that provide free public information. This site is a scam. This website even explains why they collect $1.00. "We charge just $1.00 per report to help us keep our records up to date. Companies that offer free reports aren't able to provide you with up-to-date records. Companies that charge you more are just taking advantage of you." I paid $1 for a basic report. There was no useful information on it. Other than the most basic info, I received a page and a half of "Unable to verify as no title records detected in NMVTIS". After going through my bank statement I noticed charges from 2 other websites for $24.95 each. There were in fact three charges for 24.95, in little over a month's time. These websites were listed as Vindatacheck.com and Vindatareport.com. I had not used either of those sites nor have received any services or other reports. I did some research today and found that even if you type in complete jibberish for a VIN#, it will say "We have found records for the entered VIN". Also, the last step has a countdown timer for page expiration, which puts people under hurried stess to purchase. This website and affiliates needs to be shut down.

I was researching a vehicle's history using the VIN number prior to purchasing the vehicle. I purchased a report online to check the vehicle's history using vehiclehistory.us.org

The company has charged my credit card every 2-3 weeks since the original purchase date each time for $19, and when I realized this I called the company. They replied that I need to email them at [email protected] to get my information removed. So I emailed them. No response. A few days later, I called and they took my name, email address and last four digits of the credit card number, and stated they would email me soon with a confirmation of the cancellation. I waited a few days... no email received. I called again, got the same voice, and they gave me the same story. I have since called my bank to report fraudulent activity, dispute the charges, and cancel my credit card. They come up as NJ vehicle reports, vinuaslookup.com, and vehicle history us org on my credit card statement. The website seems very vague and it is very difficult to get any kind of response from anyone. I feel that this has been a scam. Beware!

I ordered one report from US Vehicle Reports. US Vehicle Reports continues to charge my card every 2-3 weeks for reports I have not ordered. I have tried contacting customer service numerous time to address the issue and request reimbursement for payment of services I have not requested. Customer service states they can only take my name, phone number, email, and the last 4 digits of my card that was used to charge my account and pass the message along to someone who will call me back. I have never received any correspondence from any at US Vehicle Reports. The website is extremely vague and lacks details in the "about us" section and does not provide significant information regarding the location they are based out of, who to contact, etc. The "customer service" number is answered by someone who can not do anything other than take a message. I fear I have been scammed.
