I have received several letter claiming my home warranty is expiring with my Mortgage company. I have called them and told them they are
Scammer and they hung up. Every other letter afterwards I received I wrote on it """"""""""return to sender ... Scammers """"""""""and just dropped it in the mailbox because the barcode is actually their address , the post office can send it back. Today I received another one and it said final notice and I called and told the guy: listen up, I am on a recorded line at my attorneys office::"""":Cease and Desist sending letters """"""""""" "I told them the address and said this is a warning. The next time I will hear from my attorney and sue them for harassment. My Mortgage company said if they continue to send you letters after you told them ''''''Cease and desist """"you can sue. . They also advised to contact the 'Federal Trade Commission at"""""202-326-2222 or 877-382-4357 and the Att. General office from your State. This is about the 5th or 6th letter I have received... I am not too shy to take them on and if I need to get on National Television I will do it . They are Scammers and need to be stopped ! The letter is signed by '''Bill Warner , Program Director -1-800-874-2394. """"Dont back down from these SCAMMERS"""""""""""""""""""""""

They send threatening letters to attempt to scare you into buying a policy. Sleazy practice, with no business address on letter. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

Letter solicitating nonsensical warning. Grandma who is 200 yes old may get tricked. Scammers!

These pieces of shti have been sending me a "FINAL NOTICE" letter every week for over 3 months since I closed on my HELOC. The letters are absolute bullshirt anddesigned to prey on the elderly. Just a heads up, Hoe Guard- screwing the wrong person could get you killed. Not by me, but have you seen the state of the world lately? Personally, I can't wait to read in the paper about a mass shooting at US Home Guard in Missouri.

I just got very first green letter and I was like knew it’s scam . Wow they tried to take advantage of me . The records say u haven’t contracted us to get home warranty. Why u , the home guard ? I am not interested in home guard warranty. U can’t make me get home warranty one . U can’t force people to sign up . I don’t have problem with my mortgage. stop sending scam letter to me . Stay away from me

I received a FINAL NOTICE letter from US Home Guard. I immediately realized it was a scam because it states that I have a mortgage with a made up Mortgage company. This house was paid off twenty years ago.
In bold print, I am threatened that it is the Final attempt and am blamed for not contacting them in a timely fashion. Hahaha! Obviously written by a narcissist. It's all my fault. Don't fall for this type of intimidation. Especially when they are playing up your insecurities. Why cant people make money decently by contributing to society? Instead of intimidating the elderly. Go to hell, US Home Guard!

Same here they wrote me at my empty lot to tell me my policy was expiring and tu immediately call or lose coverage on the appliances, air conditioner, hot water system

i just bought this rv parking placw in december total scam company

Amazing they had my name adress and lender information but forgot to put there address on the letter or envelope

SCAM----confirmed with my financial institution shown on the letter. Don't even contact US Home Guard to complain or ask to be removed from mailings; that only verifies you as a potential customer, oops VICTIM! Check out the PBS program "This Old House" website for valuable information about home warranties. https://www.thisoldhouse.com/home-finances/21241188/american-home-guard-home-war... /> If earlier poster "everchaning93" files a successful warranty claim, we'd appreciate knowing about it. Being more expensive doesn't always equate to better quality of service.

Same as others listed above, when I contacted them the lady said they were sure I had a Mortgage on my property and that it didn't matter if I reported them to BBB, they had an A++ rating with the BBB. Really, not!THere has never been a mortgage on my property and now I am taking extra safety precautions to guard my personal Information. This insanity with robo scam calls and letters needs to stop. No wonder so many get scammed.

Received the same threatening letter (that is already the second time for me, so this one should be a final "FINAL NOTICE"!).
At least you can use the other side of the junk letter to write down your grocery list.

Received a letter from US Home Guard Home Warranty Division on 8/11 that said FINAL NOTICE and to "Respond By: 8/12/2021".

Little scary as they had my name, address, and cellular phone... but the jokes on them.

I am not a homeowner, I have never taken out a mortgage let alone a loan... So the jokes on them. I am not sure where they got their records or facts from but wow... so incredibly wrong it flagged me ASAP before I even opened it.

FRAUD & SCAM... Just document it with a picture capture on your phone and shred it... if they continue to harass I will contact the BBB, FCC, FDA, and every agency imaginable!

My parents living in New Jersey received this letter. They are a couple in their mid 70s. This company is predatory, stalking senior citizens with false threatening letters about home insurance they never purchased.

The name of the company is US Home Guard. Their number is 1-800-870-3887. Their number in spanish is 1-800-874-1854. Stay away from them.

Received a letter in the mail trying to get me to purchase home warranty

Got the same letter as described below.. junk! Just thought I’d share the front of the envelope

I'm 78, widow, and keep getting paper threats from them to pay up ($800) on their Final Notice for some insurance I WOULD NEVER BUY! They threatened to have me foreclosed on and thrown out on the street. I've warned them before. They are criminally guilty of Extortion, Fraud, and Harassment (FILED FORMAL COMPLAINTS WITH FTA, DOJ, FBI).

+6

I called the 800 number with my customer ID, she repeated my information back to me. Apparently they do not cover apartments anymore so I was told to disregard. I figured it was a scam anyway but was just curious about the phone number! Getting a letter on green paper with no return address label is enough to confirm it isn't real.

I got one , too , I just got very first letter and threat me “final notices” I wasn’t interested in home guard warranty . I knew it’s scam.

Thank you for sharing, but I strongly recommend you redact your personal details.

One screenshot really tells it all...

I received the same letter. I rightly assumed that it was a scam. I did not call the number, just looked it up. I have the same exact letter as someone posted a photo on here. Always assume these type of letters are a scam!

+15

Keep getting letters from them making me think my home is not under warranty. Got final notice today. I called their number 1 (800) 870-3887 which rang but then disconnected immediately afterwards. Did this 3 times. Same thing. Also no address for them on envelope or letter.

I did some research on the name of the company, and also on the phone number. The actual company does exist, Phone: 833-909-0020 Se Habla Español: 833-909-0019 US Home Guard, 931 Main Plaza Dr., Wentzville, MO 63385. While the company is using questionable tactics to generate business, unless YOU PERSONALLY purchased coverage from them, you do NOT owe them anything! There are multiple Home Warranty companies that do provide a good service, but this is not a company I would recommend simply because of the tactics they are using. American Home Shield is a great company and does provide good coverage, if you are interested in purchasing a Home Warranty. However, a Home Warranty is NOT insurance! If you do get a letter from US Home Guard, I suggest you shred it and throw it in the trash, simply because they appear to be attempting to scam innocent victims. I would recommend American Home Shield. They provide the best coverage for the least amount of money, and their deductible to repair items is the cheapest.
