Urgent Address Change Reports & Reviews (30)

I was in a hurry to change my address and I guess I went to the wrong site which was not usps. I googled forward your mail and this site was at the top of the page ugh. I am now $79 poorer and still have to file my change of address.

Lost $79.90 to this scam. It looks identical to the USPS website. I got in a hurry and did not pay attention. Emails and phone calls to the ‘company’ both agreed to give a refund but I never received one. Unable to dispute with bank as I authorized the charge.

SCAM! I was charged $69 for a change of address fee. They do not tell you this fee is being charged and when you call them to file a complaint, they will keep you on hold for a very long time before they eventually hang up. I tried to dispute the charge with my bank but I have to first let the transaction go through before I am able. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SITE!

This site looks just like the USPS change of address site, but will charge you 70 dollars! Please watch out for sites like this and make sure you are doing mail business on the actual USPS website! I'm kicking myself for not catching it, I really don't have 70 dollars to lose right now while moving!

This website purposely makes itself to look like the USPS website when submitting for a change of address. It duped me into paying $59.90 for a change of address. I've reached out to them via their online form for reversal of charges and termination of services. The form will NOT allow me to enter the information as it's requested. When I was able to force it to submit the form it gave me an error page.

I've emailed the company via their own email address sent to my inbox. I've received NO response.

I recently moved and was attempting to get to the USPS website to change my address. Somehow, I was redirected to "urgentaddresschange.com" unknowingly. It looked very similar to the USPS website and I didn't even notice I was redirected. I knew i would be charged one dollar so i entered my information and thought I was done. A little later, realized this place charged me $59.90!! I emailed them multiple times. Attempted to contact them by phone and was either hung up on or put on a permanent hold. This place is a huge scam as they stole my money, and never even provided me with the service they were offering.

i submitted an address change form to this compant thinking it was the usps. they charged me 59.95 to update my mailing address but they changed both mine and my mothers mailing address, so now both of our mail is being delivered to my new mailing address

2/5/2021 I went online to change my address. UrgentChangeofAddress showed up and I thought it was part of usps.com. I put in my information and they charged my card $39.90. I got an email from them saying they needed more information which I provided and they charged me ANOTHER $39.90 total of $59.90. I sent an email asking for refund of the double charge and they responded immediately saying I would be refunded within 4-5 days. I never got my money back, my change of address never happened. I have sent 8 emails to their customer support, sat on hold a total of 6 hours different times I've called, left voicemails and nothing. I want my money back. No service was rendered and now nobody is available?

I put in my debit card , they charged me 59.5 dollar charge . Never able to get hold of them.

I was in the middle of a move, a million details. I went online to change my address and entered information to what I thought was a legitimate US Postal Service web site. I was charged $59.90. A month later I still have not received my forwarded mail. When I called the support number I was placed on hold for 30 min when I confronted the service. Now I am having to change my bank account and dispute the charge.

I do believe urgentaddresschange.com is a SCAM. I requested a refund and never got it back. I tried calling multiple times and sent multiple emails and never received a response. The representatives would hung up or I would eternally hear the music when I tried contacting them. They charged me $59.90 for nothing. Be careful with this website.

Urgent Address Change mimics the USPS website, and scams you into paying $60 for changing your address. It's a pretty good replicaca of USPS and was the first website that popped up in my Google search, so it's easy to fall for it if you are tired or not paying attention (which is common if you are going through an address change.)

i thought i was doing an address change with usps which it stated on the website did not realize it was NOT and that they charged me 59.00 they sent an confirmation email :Your order was successful processed. Your address change request has now been completed. As per post office policies, please allow up to 7 days for processing and completion of the entire mail forwarding. Alongside, as promised, please see some of the offers from various vendors to aid you in your move. Some of the offers may be beneficial to you!

after several calls and emails to cancel it and no answer this is definitely a scam.

I unwillingly clicked on the first search hit for "address change usps" and this site came up and looked just like the post office. I was in a huge hurry so I did not read all the fine print. They charged me 59.90! for something I can do for 1.00. Asked for a refund by email and they said my refund was processed and would be to me in 5-7 business day. Now on day 10 and NO REFUND. Please help get rid of these predators asap, they are unscrupulous and preying on people during a national crisis.

  https://www.urgentaddresschange.com/     Not USPS

This is a website that presents itself as very similar to the USPS website and unless you "read the fine print" you would think you were submitting an official change of address form with USPS. Instead of the $1.00 USPS charges, this company charges $59.00. I'm yet to find out if the change of address will really still happen or not. Check the website carefully! Below is copied and pasted text from their site.

An address change was initiated in my name, although I have lived at my current address for 2 years. I was charged 49.90 for a service i neither requested nor needed.

Urgent Address Change intentionally markets itself similar to the United States Postal Service. They supposedly offer change of address services for an exorbitant fee, not boldly disclosed at the time of purchase. They do not charge you even according to the fine print listed exorbitant amount and do not file your change of address with the USPS. They provide no service and are intentionally attempting to appear as the USPS Change of Address website via paid marketing on Google.

I put in the search term USPS Change of Address and was led to the "Urgent Address Change" website. It did not prominently declare that it was not a government site. This information, and the 39 dollars the company charged me, was in small print.

I stumbled into www.urgentaddresschange.com/ looking for USPS change of address form. The website resembles USPS in style and appearance. They charge $50 to change an address rather than the USPS $1.05.

Details are provided in the fine print, and I understand it was my error to use this company.

Nevertheless, I have attempted to contact the company 3 times via phone and 2 times via email, but despite claiming "100% customer satisfaction", "60-day money-back guarantee no questions asked," and "all messages will be returned in one hour", none of my money has been returned and no one from the company will call me back. Furthermore, my bank indicated I am set up on a recurring monthly fee to this company. My bank put a stop order on this, nevertheless, this is shady and manipulative.

I requested this service after my father died and having his mail forwarded was among the dozens of things I needed to do. This scam caught me in the middle of my grief-induced distraction. I suspect I am not the only one to get scammed under these circumstances.

This company claims to honor refunds "no questions asked." However, I asked for a refund and I received an email stating it would be back in my account in 4-5 business days. I still do not have my refund.
