TTEC COMPANY INC [imposter] Reports & Reviews (68)

I saw a Facebook ad for a remote cashier representative for TTEC, the pay was $20/hr during training and $30/hr after training was complete. The representative was named Betty Streep. She offered an Instant Messaging interview, and after the "interview" said I was hired. Then, she said: Before mailing your employment letter and other necessities needed to confirm your statues, we do background checks for the candidates we employ into our company to ensure a safe work environment, we’ve introduced a new policy requiring all employees to undergo identity verification using the ID.me process before full work commencement. She said there would be a background check and wanted my login and password to ID.me. When I told her I didn't want to share my login credentials, she said I could talk to the head of Human Resources for review. She gave me his user name for Telegraph, Stevhartt022 and wanted me to chat with him there. I contacted this person via telegraph and told him I wasn't comfortable providing my credentials because it could be used for identity fraud, and he said I could trust them because over 200 people had already given them this information. (haha!) I asked if he could send me an email from the company to verify this information and if he couldn't then I wasn't interested. He deleted our conversation after my message.

This is an employment posting opportunity scam that is being posted on FB. The account of the original person who posted the ad is just the front person. They then set you up with another person to do the actual interview.

Then you have to download the team app on Google. Once this is done they conduct the actual interview with several questions that they ask to see if you are qualified for the position. You need to understand that this process is done over 3 days. After they have finished with the interview they tell you to wait while they give the results to the person in charge of human resource officer. Then after a few hours, they come back all happy saying how pleased they are with your results and that they have an employment opportunity that is perfect for you. They send you the actual contract hiring you that you must sign and forward it to them. Once this is done they send another email regarding the equipment that will be needed for the job. This list of items is almost three thousand dollars. After they do this you get an email about depositing the funds using one of their cheques to pay for this equipment. They email a copy of the supposed check to you and give instructions on how to not only trim the cheque to make it look more legit. They give you step-by-step instructions on how to deposit the cheque into my account using my phone. Notice this cheque is made payable to me but you have to deposit it by phone because of course there is no real cheque to begin with. The pictures of the cheque are on two separate pages front and back. This is where I got really nervous. I was not comfortable depositing these cheques into my account because I would be responsible if this cheque was not an actual cheque. I did some more digging on reviews for this company that supposedly has 60 000 employees worldwide in six countries. It was just too many red flags with the company and I sent an email to them this morning stating that I was no longer interested in working for them. They need to be stopped. How many others have been taken in by this company?

He told me that I got accepted as a Data Entry and his company paid my credit card of $2900.85 amd this person wants me to purchase worth of $2500 of gift cards on Apple.com or in-store using my credit card. I answered an online ad about online- at home work. It proceeded from there and she sent a check of $9100.00 to be deposited in my account. It turns out that the cashier's check was off of a frozen account and was returned before the hold was released. She has complete control at this time of my Facebook and my Messenger Applications linked in my phone. I have not had any contact from her in a couple of day as she had promised that it would be turned back over to me. I am truly not sure of what to do at this point.

Initially there was a post in a group on Facebook about a work from home position from am man named Travis Mike. I sent Travis a message asking for more information about the job. He proceeded to tell me more about the position and then asked me to download the Spike email app. He then gave me an interview code and an email address for HR hiring manager. The email is [email protected]. So I sent her an email. Immediately she did our interview over email. It was pretty detailed but just about basics. Name, address, hours I can work. She then told me she was sending the conversation to her company and I would hear back from them in an email. I did hear back from them congratulating me, stating I got hired. That email is [email protected]. After which I was told that they were going to be sending me a company issued laptop and they double checked my physical address. The next morning the lady I was emailing stated that she had a tracking number for the package with the laptop and supplies. When I went to the UPS website and inputted the tracking number it had said "Suspected Fraud Please Intercept" I had taken a screen shot of the message and sent it to her. She said it was a misunderstanding but that it was taken care of. At that point I was pretty sure it was a scam so I told her I believed it was and that I was going to report the encounter to the BBB. I haven't heard back since.

The company have make it so easier for the employee. the software seem so costly and the company have make a way for the employees not to spend a lot of money on purchasing software's, so you are to proceed with a Apple Card online or in the store. You’re to purchase an Apple Card because Apple Cards are solely for the purchase of goods and services for the Apple Product, in other to use that to install your Softwares and tools on your working materials before it can be mail to your doorstep.

Note: This only cost $200 okay! And will be getting a Reimbursement of $250 once am done with your software installations. $200 for the Time Tracker installation you paid and the remaining $50 is for yourself as a sign up bonus it's only take 45 minutes to get you reimbursed.

I would never scam anyone. People work to hard for their money for folks just to be taking it

understand why you are feeling skeptical, as an average consumer, I would be hesitant as well. Don't let your skepticism get in the way of a truly promising opportunity for you!!

So you need to trust us if you wanna work with us employee!

I can understand that someone must be really cautious nowadays because too many scams are going out from unauthorised company but TTEC will never be a bad company and we are having a good reputation in the world.

This company will start off with an on-line interview, give you requirements for the job, gives you a website address to go through company's website. After the interview questions are asked such as how you want paid do you want direct deposit or credit transfer name of bank if I had any maxed out credit card debt to pay off who my network carrier is with my phone . They tell you you are hired ask for name address city state zip code cell primary email plus personal picture to create a portal in the company's data base. They tell you first you will receive a payment which I would use to set up my mini office by purchasing accounting software plus the shipping logistics from the certified vendor because company is providing equip needed to work. One I would get payment I would be directed on how to get the payment to certified vendor so equip could be shipped. They stated they would be sending an apple laptop apple iphone 12 promax laser printer scanner copier. They stated they would be providing me the funds I would be using in purchasing the software and materials needed they asked for my banking info but they also asked for my username and password stating it was their way of keeping track of the funds used for the equip. They then proceeded to say they need $200 for the equip.

The name of the Company is: Ttecjobs.com. I am in process of being hired. It is a work from home job. They sent me a check for $4200.00 via their Company's email yesterday. I followed their procedures for depositing through my Bank's Mobile App.. Today my Bank, Zions National Bank in Saint George Utah informed me, after locking my account, that it was a fraudulent check.

May 26, 2021 I seen a Facebook post about a remote customer service job. The lady (Michelle Mckenzie) who posted it sent me a message with whom to reach out to set up an interview. No name just an email [email protected] and do it on Hangouts. So I sent her a message. The lady said she was Carol A Cornell, Hiring manager at TTEC through Kelly services. I took a brief questionnaire and then later she said I passed and was offered a job to work for TTEC at home. They would send me a MacBook and software so I'd be able to work from home. She said a supervisor would be texting me. Matt Chaviez texted me this morning May 27 2021. He told me he would be getting things prepared to ship once I finished software installation with Mrs Cornell. Mrs. Cornell sent me a pictures of her ID and work ID. I then realized they wanted me to send them $100 via cash app and then I'd reimbursed the money once it's installed and then they would send me the computer. I found it odd because it was never mentioned I had to pay anything and now all of sudden Mrs. Cornell is being pushy with the money being sent. I didn't proceed and tried to call my supervisor but no answer, left a message stating I was concerned and wanted to talk to someone on the phone or via zoom to confirm it was legit and not a scam. I have screen shots of the conversation. I just felt like this needed to be reported because it's not right and very wrong to scam people. Ultimately disappointed and glad I didn't proceed and give them vital information.

TTEC after hours emailing with William Murphy and feeling confident in the position offered he asked for full name, address, phone # and SSN. I explained I wasn't comfortable giving my SSN. He assured me it was for my employment with this company. Stupidly I sent it. In the end he said I needed to purchase a 100.00 Nike gift card from Walmart. This is when i realised it was a scam. Wilian was very insistent that I get one that night. I told him no. He continued to demand i had to get it that night. I didnt and ended the text. Now im worried about my SSN being in their possession. What should I do?

They asked me to send $150 which i did and then anothet $400 i told them no.i want a refund and i had to scan my social and id and now im getting calls from irs saying my identity is stolen. And i cant get my 150 refund

Contacted on phone, woman said I qualified for employment. Got messaged via text and was asked to download hangout app for interview process. Talked with a Gigi J Jones, and she said im hired and I need to make payment for materials needed for job( laptop, software, etc) Quoted me $200 and said its refunded back within hrs. Then said $150 more was needed to complete software downloads. Questioned it but was already in $200 so I tried to finish. Send $150 more to finish install and then was told it would be delivered by Fed ex delivery guy. This delivery guy the messaged me on hangouts and said his name is boots and I have to pay him 100 for him to delivery my materials. Showed me a check with my refund, and 100 was add to check for me to pay him that 100 and I'd get my things. By now I'm weary and called fed ex who said they don't have that employee and they don't use cash app for package delivery. So then I messaged back the so called customer service manager and informed her and she just kept saying to pay him, pay him, pay him, or there's nothing she can do.

They ask me to create pay maya account and asked me to load 100 pesos, In my messenger, I also sent the copies of my pay maya. That I was verified already and they indicated in replies that I need to load at least 100. So I can get a 1000k voucher as an application completion. which you will be able to see in the photo that I attached here.I sent all the copies of conversation and pay maya transaction here. If anyone can actually help us who got scammed I hope someone will put an end to this.

Work from home position, all interview was over chat asked multiple questions then advised I was qualified for the position, then they proceeded to say the equipment would be sent next day and that I needed to send a picture of my photo ID to get a company ID and get a supervisor attached to me and my equipment sent out.

Someone texted me telling me they where a recruiter from TTEC, I had googled the company and noticed nothing was weird at first. He told me if I wanted to do an interview, there was a manager available right away and I had to download skype. The person on skype was called Enricka Keene, I noticed right away the format of the interview was weird but being in a desperate situation finally,I didn't think things through. I figured this was a fast way to pass interviews due to the pandemic. She said after less than 5 minutes I was hired which I found odd but i've had similar experiences in other jobs. The only information I got was to come on skype at 8am. Then the first day they left me with no real info and just messaged me to ask if I had received the contract and a very sketchy cheque. It was made out for KINDRED Construction LTD which I found odd. Gave a large sum check was meant for my "equipment". I did more research and as soon as I saw them asking twice if I had "any updates" I realized my intuition name and the email didn't match at all. I blocked and deleted, reported it to my bank and to the fraud agency. These people are [censored].

I responded No - that I am not interested and the communication ended.

The Number the text came from is 309-201-5455
