Tech Support America called 02/04/2016@9:20pm, they've found that my computers software was infected. Windows 7 & 10 was crashing, made your computer's ran slowing. They took over my computers by going to goggle web site and circle the information that Microsoft put out an article in "Wall Street Journal". They claimed that they can fix my computers. They also showed sections that computers programs have stopped running. They then loaded "ccleaner, spying, etc; Both computers are infected.

October 2015 phone call received from Tech Support America advising us that they were working with our internet company to clean up numerous administrative log errors. They insisted that if they didn't fix the errors our computer could be damaged or get a virus. They needed control over our computer to clean up errors. They requested a fee to correct the problems and continue to monitor our computer. A couple months later same company called back to let us know they needed control of our computer again to correct a system error which they could't explain or give us any details on. They said once they took control of our computer and resolved the error there might be another charge. When we told them they were scamming us, they were rude, unprofessional, and used profanity. We immediately hung up the phone.

called from this number 648-325-9517 and said they were from Tech Support America and Microsoft to stop an invisible virus on my personal computer. Was direct to the Event Viewer window which solidified for me it was truly a scam and would have probably asked me to download some software to help track malware. I confronted them and they hung up, concerned they will get less savy computer people to download bad things. They started the call by saying they had done research that the computers in the 847 area code had been targeted by this malware.

TO clarify, I was not victimized, they just attempted.

BE AWARE OF SCAM.

Received this call from 277-395-9775 today with offer to fix my not properly working computer. Man with heavy Indian accent said he is calling from Las Vegas. I asked him what is the name of the company he works for. He said it was Tech Support America. He did not know what county Las Vegas is located at. Knowing this SCAM I terminated the conversation.

The number 277-395-9775 when I called back gave me a message that this is not valid number.

I found “Tech Support America” website with 844-680-6653 contact number and dialed it. Female with heavy accent introduced herself as “Nancy” picked up the phone. She also confirmed to me that they call people with the offers to fix their computers. She refused to say where her company is located at.

Now you have it:

277-395-9775 which is not valid number from las vegas on the banks of Ganges River.

844-680-6653 from fraudulent website “TECH SUPPORT AMERICA” from who knows where.

Gangsters from Asia trying to steal your money.

got a call Tuesday telling me that my computer had about 7 problems and i was to go to the computer and turn it on. which I did. He took me through a whole bunch of steps, he told me my computer was having problems and wanted me to buy a new computer windows 10 for about $300, I asked my husband about it and he told me that we are not interested and told me to hang up the phone. I would like to warn others about this company and this attempt at taking advantage of me.

This business keeps calling me like ones a month telling me i need to get on my computer and do all this stuff. My computer has not worked in months and i cant go on it. No one that calls seems to speak english and are very hard to understand. I got their phone number this time of 3047438823

Man, with a very heavy Indian accent, called and wanted me to access my computer because I had "dangerous" problem with it that they had detected. He said he was calling from "tech support america". phone number listed on the id was 572-353-8248

Said he was with Tech Support America and there was a problem wiut

The caller introduces themselves with a very Americanized name but the caller always has a very strong Eastern Indian accent. They indicate they are calling from Tech Support of America and say that we are having issues with our Microsoft internet program and that they are calling to help us fix our problem. When I confront them asking for more details they turn me over to a supervisor. The supervisor usually gives me a name I cannot spell or understand and if I ask for a telephone number they will not provide one, in fact, they tell me they do not have a telephone number, RIGHT!, and eventually, they hang-up on me. They have gone as far as stating they are a level 5 technician. I guess that is suppose to impress me. We are getting this call anywhere from every other month to 3 times a month. My husband played along onetime with them and could see that they were trying to gain remote access to our computer. I am greatly concerned as I strongly believe this is a scam. I am not sure where they are calling from but I believe it is outside of America.
