This scammer created a replica website of the Springfield Armory site, posing as a store for the Springfield Armory Hellcat pistol. They used the website and have images of all of the same accessories (magazines, optics, holsters) for sale. The prices are comparable and discounted by only $20-40 as if on sale. Shipping is $20. By all accounts, it appeared legitimate. They ask you to create an account. Even the invoice they send looks legitimate. Where it became a little suspicious was when they indicated payments should be made through Zelle. They include instructions and the sales associate’s email and Zelle ID. They provided “Jesus Rosario” at [email protected]. It appeared everything was legitimate and secure. A “Kenneth Wilson” at email [email protected] contacted me 4 days in to reassure me my order would ship. 10 days later, no product and no tracking information. I called the number provided on the website. It turned out to be a Google number, with a female voice message, asking who I was trying to reach, and then it went to voicemail. When I started inquiring via the “chat” feature on the website, as to why I had not received the item or tracking information, I received an email from a “Bryan” the next morning. He wanted me to send my bank account information for a refund. No way. These people are thieves!

This website claims to sell Springfield Hellcat parts and firearms but doesn't have a way to pay for your items until they send you an email and ask for a Zelle or Cash App payment.
