John Baker, the prize representative, called my cell phone congratulating me for winning 2nd place in PCH - Publishers Clearing House. I had won $5.5 million and a convertible Mercedes Benz car. "Why aren't you happy?" He would ask. He wanted to know where I was, which was at work. He said he would stay on the phone with me, to go to my car and get home as quickly as possible so they could make the delivery. I asked where he was and he said they were in Queens, New York but had someone in my state ready to make the delivery. I asked for a call back number in case we were disconnected and he gave 876.446.5993. He asked if I were familiar with FDIC being federally insured, and if I had a FedEx close. Then I was told I would need to FedEx them $10,599.00 to get all the licensing and registrations taken care of and that it would be given back to me in a brown envelope when they made the delivery of the prizes! He even let me speak to the lawyer of the company Mara(Mary?) Lee. They gave me one more number to call to confirm, it was for Dave Sawyer, the CEO/General Manager @ 501.817.4430. While I had them on the phone, I called both of these numbers. The first said it was an international number and the second asked me to leave a message. I did not fall for this but tried to get as much info as possible to report. While I had them on the phone I also looked up the name of Dave Sawyer & the search brought me straight to this website, exposing all he is. Thank you BBB!

Received a call on a private number on Saturday 4/21/18 about 2:45 pm from a man claiming to be the CEO of Publishers Clearing House he said his name was John Higgins he let me know the call was being recorded, he told me I would be getting a delivery in 45 minutes and that 3 people would be making the delivery Mary Johnson (Taco Bell), Ronald Wesley (Allstate) and Vanessa Blake whom would be assisting with the signing of documents. He gave me a couple of confirmation numbers/claim number. He proclaimed I had won 5.9 Million and a Dodge Durango that would be insured for 2 years. Then proceeded to tell me I would need 3 items; a drivers license, a claim receipt and another form of identification. Claim receipt of course I didn't have thus I would have to go to the Walmart and he would stay on the line with me to walk me through the process. He insisted that I needed to get going incase the delivery was made before I got back and asked if someone would be home to let them know I was on my way, I told him my husband would be here. He actually advised that I was the next delivery that one had just been made on Central.

I questioned him about my name and address of which was never mentioned and he could not answer my questions, he did get agitiated and said my number was randomly selected and kept explaining himself he than got irritated and said the winnings would be given to charity I asked which charity so I could confirm it and he didn't like that either. His favorite phrase that he repeated often was "thats correct" which was not necessarily appropriate in the context that he used it.

After hanging up I did call the number he had given me and they actually answered probably the same guy whom did a very poor job of trying to disguise his voice, I hung up.

I did contact one of the news stations whom referred me report it here.

The caller represented Publisher Clearing House (PCH) and said my name was choosen 2nd to receive seven hundred and fifty thousand dollar. The patron van will be coming to my house to deliver this prize with all the party favor the day (October 14, 2015) that would be good. My response how about now it was then he told me they were in Birmingham and it would take a little time so I said call when when I get home. So I called the number that that appeared on my cell 876-335-9707 ( the man spoke with a accent) just to catch him and called my husband so I would be there along if these people came. I am reporting this because they mention something about the IRA being notified of the win. Please stop these scammers I didn't give any personal information but someone else may.

Concern Citizen from Tuscaloosa Alabama.

Phone call supposedly from Publisher Clearing House asking why I had not replied to package

sent a week ago. Package reportedly stated I had won $500,000 and one of three vehicles: mercedes, tahoe, or chevy malibu. Agent's name was given as David Smith, check # 001100582 and package #191619. Phone was 876-596-6809. The process included my

going to Western Union and sending $85 to them. I told him repeatedly I was wary of a

scam and he kept assuring me it was legit. When he asked me to send the money I told him

this is a scam and hung up amid his protests that it was legit.
