Claims to "provide online DMV services to individuals, car, truck and van rental companies, dealerships, and those with large vessel fleet such as semi-trucks, tractor trailers and commercial fleet. Provide customers with the ability to renew DMV registrations for cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, RVs and boats directly from our website. No traveling, or office visits required."

I never received my renewal, thought this was DMVs actual site but it wasn't. When I called about the mistake, voicemail was full, left several emails and never responded. I looked up reviews and the same has happened to other. $*** stolen.

I was messaged by the scammer whom hacked and pretended to be my cousin in law. Messaged me from the account and told me about this grant and I needed to give some information about me. Thinking I was talking to a family member about this cool grant . I answered the questions . And was messaged by Ronnie Stines from the United nations development program. With a webs site attached. I went through it everything look fine . I was also messaging my cousin and was acting him questions about what it was being told and asked to do . Give info about my self and my email info and then my Facebook. I filled out the info. Then they said I qualified. And then you needed to pay a delivery fee for the driver, they gave some options for payment . Unwilling to give any bank info they said I could get iTunes cards. That's sounded weird to me so I messaged my cousin about if he did they too. He messaged me back yes and we went back and forth. I had no idea everything was being messaged by the scammer to me . I felt so stupid about it all know but at the time I was extremely excited and believed my cousin and what he was telling me and he lives in Washington so we dont talk that much and it was him Facebook pictures and it had are old messages on it too. So I really did thinks about it at all. Then the hackers rechecked my Facebook after I blocked them and logined me out I saw my Facebook was hacked from legos, Nigeria. After everything I went through. The next morning I was unable to get into my Facebook and messanger and they changed my password and email so I could not get back in. I tried to email Facebook for help but because they took 10 hours to help the hackers disable my account but not before they were messaging my Facebook friends and trying to hack them the same way they did me . So be careful and give no info call your friends from Facebook and talk to they and through messanger.

Type of a scam Employment

I applied for a job at a company and they emailed me back telling me the position had been filled, but based on my CV I would be a good fit for their associate, and to email her my resume if interested. I did so and she emailed me back. Here is the text of the email:

Dear _______,

Thank you for getting back to me. This is a full time position but can also be part time, as you will be helping me and your duties will include but are not limited to;

Running errands, shopping, supervisions and monitoring, scheduling programs, flights and keeping me up to date with my schedule. You will also act as an alternative telephone correspondence when I'm away, Make regular contacts and drop-offs on my behalf, Handle and monitor my financial activities.

I'm 65 years old and located about 15 miles away from your zip code. I will maintain a fair degree of flexibility in terms of working around your other commitments. I will provide clear set of instructions for each task I need done and sufficient funds to cover all errands.

Currently, I am in Toronto meeting with partners. I will be back in 2 weeks to arrange a formal interview with you and for necessary paperwork. Please note that this position is not office-based for now because of my frequent travels and tight schedules. The hours vary as some weeks you will be busier than others and you also get to choose your own hours, but the pay stays constant. I looked up the email address and Google searched her name--nothing to be found. Copied & pasted the text, and a lot of other scams have basically the same thing. I'm assuming it was a scam for money laundering and/or transporting illegal goods.

This ad popped up on facebook for 70% hydro flask. When you click on it, it takes you to a website specifically that looks like hydroflasks website, only if you look at the URL it is different. It is a scam and I purchased through PayPal, and immediately reported it to PayPal to request the money back. Do Not Purchase from this person. They should be found and punished by the for taking peoples money and sending in products.

I responded to a message from a friend (Facebook messenger). Her picture was with th message. Message gave name and number to text and ask about gov’t program BFAG giving $ from a gov’t trust. I received texts from Cynthia S*** asking for name, address, etc. which I gave. Texts had misspelled word, poorly constructed sentences, and I realized this could not be coming from my friend. Called her. She confirmed it was a scam. I did not answer any more questions, was never asked to send $. No $ was lost, but my friend is being used to contact her friends. She knows and is reporting it also.

Type of a scam Rental

I found a listing of this apartment in various sites such as, zillow, westside rentals, and I decided to reach out to them as I was interested in possibly renting this apartment. Then, I received an email from the "owner" of the property. I googled the name on the email "Elisa Collen and Brian Collen" and I saw that their name was involved with another rental scam. This is the email I received:

My name is Elisa Collen, I'm working as a research engineer for a healthcare company called McKesson Corporation. I bought this property for my daughter during her studies there, but now she's back home to North Dakota permanently, so I'm renting the place for unlimited time. I'm in need of a good and responsible tenant that can move into my apartment and take very good care of the property and maintain it in my absence.

The apartment has 3 beds, 2 bath,1187 sqft. It's fully furnished and it's very nice and clean.

The rent is US $ *** per month and includes all utilities (High-Speed Internet • Utilities: water/gas/electricity/heating • TV Cable • Parking Spot).

The lease is flexible, can be month to month if you prefer it. Only for 12 months rental, the first month will be free!

You'll have the option/priority to extend your stay before the lease expires.

About pets: there are no problems if you have pets, as long as you clean up after them. That's all I can say for now until you have a taste of my place.

In the meantime, can you please confirm the following:

· How many people would be living at the property?

· When would you like to move in? (exact date)

· What term/length lease would you like?

· When are your most suitable times/days to view the property?

If further interested, please give me some information about yourself (age, job, lifestyle or whatever you think makes you a good tenant).

Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you!

Elisa & Brian Collen

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Posted my car on Craigslist, I got a call asking if it was still for sale then they hung up. Next they started texting asking for a VIN check but gave bogus sites to put my information in. The texts they sent are following:

The best place to get one from is: send it to me at [email protected] if you can!

once i see a clean report from maybe we can setup a time for a test drive

Clearly they want me to put my info into these bogus sites rather than using carfax or a reputable site.

Customer only answers phone calls if it comes up on her caller ID as someone in her contacts -  She received a call and it came up as someone from her contact list and when she answered they said they were calling from *** and told her that she has a credit due of $29.00 and asked her if she would like for it to be applied to her account or if she would like to have it sent on a Visa -  She asked for it to be placed on her bill -  They then asked her for her Pin # -  She hung up and called WSLS and they advised that she call us.  The person that called had an "accent"

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

BEWARE!!!! Fake job sites on Indeed will get your information stolen! Employers who you apply for on indeed are able to see our email atnd phone number. They use these to make promising job offers. They might ask for information for a background check or any other reason they can come up with. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS! Luckily, I didn't give any other info that wasn't on my resume already but in my perspective what's on my resume is enough for a someone to try scamming you. This person said something about sending me a check through FedEx or UPS. (RED FLAG). They wanted me to cash it.(RED FLAG) Something similar happened to my brother but on craigslist. He didn't know any better back then and cashed in a counterfeit check and almost got into a lot trouble. I wasn't going to do the same thing. I replied to the last email with, "Fraud. You will be reported.".
