I was contacted by email first saying my name was listed under lots of porno sites. I haven't had my computer for two weeks I just recently bout it online and. They say my name,ss number,my phone number, email that it's all being used by other people and the main one was porn hub with my name on it. They want me to pay 449.99 or 229.99 to clean it all up and clear my name. I was told I didn't have to pay any thing but then they connect me with some one else and I was told I had to pay which I didn't. I contacted the Eunice PD to fully understand what I needed to do. I am a first time buyer of a computer and just a beginner of using one. So. The people scammers moved my mouse around typed in lots of things and at the end asked me for cash they said they were the Microsoft company.

This company is a fraudulent company. Do not fall for any offers they have for Auctions, VP tickets etc. They charge your credit card and do not give you any contracts or explanations even if you are not confirmed, they have an army of lawyers lined up to keep all fraudulent charges. Typical car dealer thugs.

I received calls today to my mobile number leaving voice messages purporting to be from the social security administration. The calls were from 858-816-1585, 858-816-1580, & 858-816-1576

the robotic voice message states that the call is from the social security administration and that my Social Security number has been suspended for suspicious or illegal activity and advises me that if "you want to know about this case just press one thank you "

This man called with people in the background said that he's looking for my sister by name. Asked if I knew her. Said she was being contacted for a legal complaint and he worked for an attorney's office. Said his name was *** *** and the number to contact him

I do not know if the scam was coming in for me or my sister as I hung up.

These numbers call me on a daily basis telling me if I don’t respond that I will have to deal with a federal offense and that it is the final attempt to reach me. I call the number back telling them to stop calling and that this is harassment and that I wouldn’t get a phone call telling me that. This time today I was told that if I filed a complaint against them that he would *** me everyday and asked how old I was and if I had *** ***? I stated that I wouldn’t tell him my age and I hung up. 2 minutes later I get another call from that number.

Twice I've gotten a call on my land line from Victoria Hall to discuss repayment of a federal student loan. We should call back to discuss a repayment plan due to recent changes. She gives a reference number of 202207. She is talking so casually and nonchalantly that if someone did have a federal student loan they would believe her! We do not have student loans of any type.

Recorded call as follows:

Real voice (man’s voice) – “Hi, this message is intended for”

Automated voice – my name

Real voice – “I received an order in my office today to complete an Order of Process for several pending matters you are currently be investigated for. I will be verifying your current address & place of employment today. In the meantime, it is your responsibility and legal right to contact your plaintiff prior to being served. Their number is 223-888-0011. Your case # is...”

Automated voice – (provided the supposed "case #")

Real Voice – “Failure to comply will result in forfeiture to dispute this matter and a complaint will be filed against you in your local county.”

Automated voice – my name

Real voice – “Uh, Please consider this your official notification.”

Call disconnects. The man does not introduce himself nor the company he supposedly works for. There is nothing attached to this phone number except reports of scams.

I received a call on my cell phone. The agent was foreign and knew my full name. They stated that they were from the Department of the State of Texas. He said his name was John, and his badge number was 11014684. He mentioned that there has been a drug bust of 22 pounds of cocaine and blood on a vehicle that was found with my I.D in the car. They wanted my checking account information, which I did not have available on hand. I did give them my social security number. The agent was very rude and hung up on me.

Initially contacted via text message, with a job offer saying they received my information from Further into the conversation they later said they would send me a check to set up an office, and once that was completed we could begin training, at 20 an hour. I have been a mystery shopper in the past for legitimate companies. I found another one online and applied for it. I began receiving texts (which I later blocked) and an e-mail with the attached letter instructing me that a package from FedEx was on its way (it is probably at my house as I speak) and instructions that are obviously a scam to get me to buy $2000 worth of gift cards. I will be taking this package to the police to report it, but want it on record to the BBB so others don't get scammed as well.
