Type of a scam Online Purchase

I seen a Ad on San Diego craigslist May 16th 2019 for a AMD FX 8350 CPU processor/fan for $55 shipping/Handling. I contacted the person selling the product by text and we both agreed on $55 for the product. I sent the money through Cash App on May 16th 2019. Mike confirmed that he received the money and ensured he would mail the product on May 17th 2019 and give me tracking, which never happened! He gave me many excuses over the weeks, like his car broke down and the package was lost in the mail. I requested my money back from him, but he ignored me. I did further Investigation of aka "Mike" online and discovered that he is doing this to many people. He poses himself as a Mobile Mechanic out of the Redlands area. This individual does not care what he is doing to hard working people and needs to be prosecuted for his malicious actions.

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I called Nelnet to reapply for a IDP program was currently enrolled into. I got NelNet's number from a statement I received from NelNet, the representative name Paige told me I qualified for loan forgiveness because I work for a non-profit. Paige then sent me a text with FSA ID temp code, which I received before when I spoke to a Nelnet representative, so it seemed so legit. Paige said I qualify $199.00 a month for 6 months; then $39.00 per months for 120 months after which my balance will be forgiven and show as paid in full. Paige sent me an email from debtpaypro.com to sign forms; that is when I started to question the validity of the what I was told. I called Nelnet again, they told me it was a scam. Nelnet did nor offered any thing else. How did they get my info from Nelnet? I believe Nelnet is selling student information to others. I do not believe Nelnet or studentloan.gov is taking this matter seriously. There are many others are victims. Be careful if you have student loans with Nelnet.

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I have a vehicle posted for sale on KSL Classifieds. This person texted me from 410-258-6315 "Can i make payment via Check and once it clears my shipper will come for the pick up"...Never seeing the vehicle or asking any questions about it, huh? Not suspicious at all...

I am aware that this is a common scam, so I did not respond. This person continued to text me late at night every couple of days until I blocked the number.

Type of a scam Tax Collection

Do NOT give these scammers any information I called them back 10 times until I got everyone in their scuzzy little dark hole to say, "Get a real job! You're not from the Social Security Administration! You're simply con artists trying to rip off the elderly and unsuspecting hard working public. You're disgusting! Why don't you try working a real job and feeling good about laying your head your pillow at night!" F.Y.I. The Social Security Administration would NEVER call like this. They will ALWAYS send out a letter to you and NEVER request any personal information or ask for money. Get a "foghorn" and if these scammers call you, call them back and blow the fog horn in their ear. Trust me, it's deserved!!!!!

Okay so this was supposed to be a loan forgiveness program and I followed along with it until they wanted to reset my FSAFA password (which they didn't say just my email and birth-date and the code sent to my email for a password reset). Which honestly is a horrible thing as from that they can steal ones identity.
