This was for $14,500 and Lisa was to buy iTune cards once again; however, she didn't follow through with a call back or otherwise. She didn't like the fact that she had moved 1 mo ago and the caller had her new address & pertinent information.

Don't know if this was a scam or not, but it started with "Can you hear me", and I said yes. Afterwards, I realized I shouldn't have done that, as I could now be a victim. So I'm reporting it, just in case.

I am making this report as per advice in article on News, 'Can you hear me?': New phone scam tricks you into answering 'yes', Reporter: Wallis Snowdon.

I answered a call on Wednesday February 8, 2017, to my home number, at around 6:30 p.m.

It began with the usual call-centre background noise, then a man asked "Can you hear me?" and stupidly I answered "Yes."

He then said he was from HP - it was about my computer, he said. And I said "No thanks, not interested" and hung up. Pressed star-69 afterwards to get the number ( I do not have Call Display) but it said Unknown.

A male called, Identified him self as Jason from Temecula, CA. Asked if I could hear him. I started to say yes and tried to stop myself. He was interested in travel (I'm a travel agent) but he didn't have a passport. Said he found me on Google. He was very indefinite on where he wanted to travel. It all seemed very fishy so I hung up.
