I received two phone calls one right after the other at 2:44am on March 22nd. The line was bad on the first call and I only heard static. The second call went through. I said- Hello. The caller asked- is this *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ***? I said- yes. The caller said- OK and then hung up.

I have heard on the news that this is a scam where the person is trying to get you to say yes to use that for some unknown purpose.

Beginning of the phone call. The caller asked if I can hear them. They said they were having trouble with their headset. I asked a question but they continue talking like it was a recording even tho they made it seem like it was a person on the line.

Type of a scam Travel/Vacations

I received a call on my cell phone. There was noise interference, and then he asked if I could hear him. Without thinking I answered yes. He then began to tell me that I had won an all expense paid trip to Disney World. I told him I was not interested and hung up. But I am fearful now because I answered yes to his "Can you hear me!" What do I need to do to protect myself if he was a scammer? Should I contact my bank? I haven't lost any money yet, but I am afraid that I will.

Person called and asked, Can you hear me ? After answering yes, they hung up the phone. I suspect that they may illegitimately use my voice to verify fraudulent charges of some type.
