I got a postcard in the mail with my correct name and address, not addressed to "current occupant". They also know the year, make, and model of my car. Keeps saying on the card I need to update my vehicle protection. No return address, only a phone number

I get countless phone calls from the motor vehicle services department saying my car is about to run out of warranty. I tell them that if they knew me or my vehicle they would not be trying to scam me. Just got this in the mail. I guess you have to spend money to steal money

Received a postcard in the mail stating this:

"Our records indicate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle protection activated. This notice is to inform you that your 2020 *** *** is in need of vehicle protection in order to ensure its continued safe operation. Please call us today at 1-877-586-0450. By neglecting to activate your protection program you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket." END QUOTE.

Now when I purchased my car it already came with a 6-year warranty, but they did not know that. I tested them and they told me 5 years. And when confronted they told me that they were sorry for the miscommunication that this is for the advanced protection beyond the regular warranty. I asked him you mean the vehicle's extended warranty and he said some people call it that. Right there I hung up and reported the number. Do not trust these people. They are scammers and will try to steal your money.

I received a notification by mail identified as a Motor Vehicle Service Notification. When I contacted the service I was asked to provide my debit/ credit card information and pay a fee of $****** for coverage for a new vehicle purchase. The individual would not provide his credentials or identify his 'employer'. He refused to send any information to review. It appears to be a very sloppily operated scam.

Called And gave them that record ID number on the card then they knew my name and I told them I wasn't interested in the extended warranty I thought this was for a recall and the guy was really rude and said doesn't say anything about a recall on that card and I said well my son's mechanic so I'm not interested he says well the parts are going to cost a lot he says and you expect your son to fix your car for free I teach my son that hard work pays and o said you don't know anything about me or how I raise my son he just kept talking over me and would let me talk. Very rude and Unprofessional and pushy to the point where it got a little scary.

I received in the mail saying it is my final notice on my factory car warranty. It does not say which car we own. I did not call 1-877-728-6039.
A second letter came saying I haven't activated my service contract. Again what car. We own 2. The number that I will not call is 1-800-424-1062

They got a random kid to drop these pink letter things off at my doorstep? What even is this?

They are scam! They get upset when you ask questions. I am reporting to my state Attorney General! They kept mailing stuff with the same car listed and then when I finally called said they didn't have a car for me. Told her well that's what's on the paper and they hung up! Her name was Barb...

I am getting calls and voicemails telling me this is the last time they are going to call because I haven't responded but then a week later they are calling again leaving me voicemails and mailing me these pink cards. I answered one time and told them to take me off their list, and that didn't work, you call back the number they leave on your voice mail and it's not a good number. How are they getting my information? Type of car I am driving. Please stop calling me! I am not interested! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Annoying [censored] sent me this postcard same as everybody else has gotten. They make it look official it's not the big giant scam and their big giant [censored]. Don't fall for it we're just trying to get your money.

I receive these cards in the mail at least twice a wk, as well as numerous phone calls(sometimes 3-5 times weekly). I block the calls each time, and they will call right back from another number. I've changed my phone number due to this, and they have somehow got my current number as well. It's getting quite intolerable and fruatrating!

I have been receiving "Motor Vehicle Service Notification" postcards for the last year with a toll free number listed (with CST business hours) warning of protection expiring which I never purchased. Have received about 6 of these, one every other month. Have tried calling a number of times to remove myself from this list and the cards just keep coming. It's designed to look like a DMV notice, but it clearly is some kind of scam where they got my mailing address and car make/model/year from the dealer who must be selling their lists without consumer knowledge or consent.

Notice is sent to a typical new car buyer saying "Our records indicate you have not contacted us to activate your auto warranty. By neglecting to activateyour coverage today, you assume responsibility for paying repairs in full out of pocket" "Your vehicle is in need of protection in order to ensure its safe opertion"
