I tried to buy a Yeti cooler off of Facebook Market Place in February. The person sent me some piece of crap cooler. I made two separate orders for ($144 for one Yeti cooler) and another order for ($137 for a thief Yeti Cooler) I never tricked a Yeti Cooler but a huge dented up scraped up dented cooler that did not match the description. The seller hasn’t refunded me and it’s been over a month. I’ve filed two separate claims with PayPal that keep post pining my resolution date. The seller hasn’t reached out to me to make it right or refunded me. I do not want the cooler they sent me but refuse to spend my own money to ship it back, since they clearly scammed me. Just about $300 later and over a month later, I still have not received my money. Even tho, I reported to Facebook, PayPal, and now the ScamPulse.com because I’d like my money back. I never authorized my money to be fake. Out of my account for anything other than a Yeti. I still haven’t received anything from the seller trying to make it right. I was scammed and the worst part is one of these coolers was supposed to be a gift for my friend whose getting married. Now I’m negative 300 dollars and still without a present, spending hours typing up my disgusting situation and this all take my time away, we’ll the scammer has had my funds for over a month.

I purchased a grooming table from a Facebook, marketplace seller . It showed shipped via UPS, transferred to USPS, delivered to a parcel locker. USPS told me it was a scam and I never received. I filed a dispute with PayPal/Discover who reviewed and said seller provided proof, apparently of nothing. I reported to Facebook, nothing. If you look at this seller’s Facebook seller reviews you will see reviews showing him as a scammer. How do I stop the next person from paying for nothing?

Was looking for a car on face book market place and found a 2010 Honda Accord exl for 1,400. It's not the same person selling the car they message u back and tell u it's their sister selling the car and have to send an email to the person on the. U have to pay with Ebay gift cards or cash app bitcoin. The seller in Montana said the car used to belong to her dad and he passed away 4 months ago and she was on a military base and she's leaving and needs to sell the car. Paid 1,000 in Ebay gift cards then she said had to send more money for insurance for shipping the car did that then she said they need another $1,000 for custom charges, sent email saying Montana Border Authority said I need to pay for custom charges to bring the car over the border that is when I found to be strange. The people running the scam have face book photos that are not really them they use fake names and most of them have only 1 follower. The Ebay emails are not real they look real until u see the copy write says 2024 Ebay real site says 1995 and 2024. The emails say if you don't send the money u will lose the rest of the money u already sent for the car, they tell u the paper work is already ready in the car for you but I never gave them any information yet. These people have lots of nice cars that they list for 1.400 once they take your money the car is no longer listed on face book market place they put other cars up so the car u was looking at is no longer on the site.

The company (kilgoty) advertised a going out of business sale for garden sculptures, originally priced at $159, now $29 each. The video shows the artist creating those large 3D sculptures. The product received is clearly machine made, and not worth even the discounted price.

At this point, Facebook has the same product under yet another name (kogoty).

I reached out to owner of the post on Facebook market. I was given a number to contact, which I did. The conversation went as normal. Questions asked about the apartment for rent where discussed. I was told I had to pay a refundable $70 application fee. I did as requested. I was then told after the fee was paid that I had to pay the $500 deductible as soon as I was approved in order to see the apartment. I received a text message with a lot of grammar errors that I was approved almost 2 hours later. The person on the phone started pushing for me to pay the extra $500 but then changed it to $400. I was not comfortable paying this amount without proof that this was not a scam so I backed out. I sent this person a message back stating that I was no longer interested and requested my money back. The person stated that he would send it back but never did. He then started ignoring my messages. I never got my $70 back.

I saw the ad on facebook while Christmas shopping. It was for an oversized chair. I knew by the next day that I paid for it that something was wrong. I received no e mail notifications and have not seen or heard from this company since they got my money. I immediately cancelled my credit card but it was too late. The charge hit and my credit card company doesn't seem to interested in helping

I have boots for sale on Facebook Marketplace and was contacted by someone with the last name Campbell (profile photo was a young couple with a baby). I messaged the individual that this was a scam and I was deleting them.

Martha Sorge advertised on Facebook marketplace a free Yamaha piano. She advised contacting her sister, Jesenia Wolfe. Ms. Wolfe informed us her husband passed away, she was moving to Canada and wanted the piano to go to a good home. After we informed her of our situation, Ms. Wolfe said she'd take it off the market and that we were to contact the moving company, Tony Inaimo Transport because the piano was in storage and they would deliver to our home for $350. In communication with the transport company, it was obvious we were communicating with automated intelligence which led to our suspicion. In addition, Tony Inaimo is an Australian company with no obvious presence in the US. We have since verified others experienced similar scam attempt being asked for Venmo or other cash-like payment methods. This is a scam.

I logging into balance my checking account and saw it. Notified my bank and went there right away. Cancelled my debit card. Filled out all the fraud paperwork - the transaction still said "pending". This morning the funds have been withdrawn from my account. I am not sure if I will get them back or not at this point. I did not order anything, pay for anything from Homey Surrounds. My card has been in my possession only.

This fraud promises and sends contracts via text/email to install Christmas lights. He then never returns and will not answer his phone or respond to any type of communication. He scams people by installing lights one year then the next year will hound you for a payment to get a discount for the next year. This way he can get your money and he has your Christmas lights that you previously payed for the prior year. He uses Facebook marketplace to post his services and is ripping off a ton of people!
