Wrap scam (David Hinds)

I received a text stating that I will get paid weekly $700 & will be mailed a check in the amount of 3,750. I was advised to deposit in my bank & buy $3000 worth of money orders & were to send it to the wrap installation for materials. I never deposited it because I knew it was a scam.

I have had to people call my company saying that we sent them $2,950.00 to wrap their cars for Jolt Cola. I have one pending check in the bank that I had to call and label fraudulent. They also broke into our email and contacted our payroll company as well as some of our clients. We are a remodeling company in PA. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM! BE SMART IF YOU RECEIVE THESE CHECKS FROM OTHER COMPANIES! CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW!

I received a text message from the number provided. I did not click on the link, but it seemed fake to me therefore I did research online. I was able to match similar scams regarding Jolt Cola and was quite similar. I provided all the information I currently have. I did not respond via text. I simply blocked the number from future contact. Thank you. Roland

I received a text message about learning extra money to wrap my car with Jolt Vila logos. Was offering $500 weekly to drive with their logo on my vehicle. Only received text messages asking me to confirm receipt of the text messages. Received about 4 and then the check arrived which was originally suppose to be the 1st week pay of $500 but when check arrived it was for $2980.00. The check was from a Taekwondo Academy in New Windsor NJ. I looked up the company and saw the address on the check was not the one listed on their website. I then put in the address on the check and it said it was a residential single family home. I then looked at the address of where the check was sent from and it was in Los Alamos New Mexico.

I was sent a text message to my phone inquiring about a job I might want making $800.00 a month to advertise on our car for jolt cola. All they asked for was a name and address two weeks later we got a check for 3900.00 and a letter from them stating it was two months up front for advertising on our car then the rest was to be paid to the company that was coming out to put the wrap on the vehicle. But something didn't add up the bank was drawn on one bank in NC and the sticker on the envelope it came in was from a business in a different state the lady whose name was Rosalie Bravo told us to deposit the check then take a picture of deposit ticket and text it back to her and she would release the funds she said mark out any bank information on the deposit slip before I send her the picture well it still was fishy so I called th he institute bank it was written from and they said they had no idea of the bank numbers on the check they weren't right. Long story short my husband said no to deposited it cause he didn't want to get screwed and all scams with wrapping ads were mostly scams
