Number 318-423-8655

The text says they are with Whole Foods research and setting you up to receive an envelope with your shopping assignment. Sure enough the envelope comes in the mail priority mail envelope with the same address of financial press freight company in miami. There's a check inside for $1,950 telling me to keep 400 for my trouble and to get pictures of gift cards from Footlocker. Foot Locker is closed in bankrupt. The check looks authentic and probably is on a real check. But the bank that is drawn from is undoubtedly a fake account. I told the texter has been caught as a scam and he still tried to text me and say why aren't you going to follow through? I told him where to stuff it

They sent me a check for $1380.00 and told me to deposit it and gave me instructions to follow to purchase gift cards and send them the info from the gift cards I purchased and move on to the next phase of the mystery shopping process. They also promised me 300.00 of this check and an additional 300 bonus If i completed the steps within 2 hours.

I signed up to be a Mystery Shopper from an online Job search out of curiosity.

No other contact, no interviews.

Received on 8-08-22 a Reusable Express envelope from Intemar Logistics Ince from SF. Inside was a cashier's check, and a color printout with the Whole Foods Logo, but not official letterhead, with a poor color block of store logos and a card type.

The check was an odd amount- $1950.47, and was instructed to keep $450, buy $1500 in Vanilla Cards, take pics of front and back, then send pics with survey to Antonio Veronica at a gmail account. I was the then text another phone number to process my bonus.

Found out this was a scam by checking online for the business name on the envelope.

Won't cash the check. Am also going to call USPS and inform them, too.

Received check $1985.00 and an instruction letter with extremely explicit instructions in a PRIORITY USPS Envelope marked Whole Foods. The letter goes on to tell you how to deposit the check and make copies and email the copies of the gift cards you will buy and the receipts of those and a receipt of you depositing the check in your bank account with a copy of your deposit slip.

Inside the envelope it says Survey and marketing. And then it says it is from Walmart as well.

I didn't need to go further with this I new it was a scam. What would you like me to do with the letter and check?

This is almost exactly what lost me over $2k as a struggling undergrad in need of books. They want you to deposit the check, buy stuff and then send a portion of the money back. They’ll want your receipts and such to keep for their own security. If you deposit the check, it will bounce.

They will likely ask for the transfer of the funds somewhere. Submit all the info you receive to your local authorities and also notify the AG.

I was scammed out of $2400. Don’t let the same happen to you. I’d love for one of those YouTube scammers to get these people.

I got a text message saying:
"Whole Foods Market needs store evaluator in Ontario. Get $400 on each endeavor, this won't affect your occupation. Apply by [email protected]".
I did NOT reply or provide any info knowing this is a scam/phishing attempt. this message must be sent to numerous people hoping someone in need of work will apply or send them info. I looked the number up on https://location.lihaoba.com/18188362313.html and it is a China cell provider. India and africa also does these scams too but they can also spoof the number making it appear a local address so dont be fooled regardless. I read other comments of people giving drivers license and other sensitive info in "forms" they filled out on google which is why I'm posting the text I received even though I quickly blocked the number without giving info. Please do not give sensitive info to people you cannot verify are legitimate and do not fall for these types of texts as they are typical phishing scams. If you are unsure and you want to apply, contact the company directly instead of replying to a random text or email. Be safe. Hope this helps others.

The text message I received
The text message I received

I received an email and then a text message asking I've received the check yet and to text them when I did. I was already on high alert for ice been scammed before.
So then about a week later I got this letter with a huge check for $2,990 asking me to purchase at my local walmart/CVS gift visa cards then days later go to the Walmart and purchase 3 American Express gift cards. If you want more info on the purchase amount and what to do look at the photo that I provided to show you all the scam.
Man I tell you the scam is the same everywhere and they don't learn do they, they misspell, they use the same routines or ask of the same things which are gift cards. But they are looking alittle more legit with asking you to do alittle more on evaluating the store itself. But as you can see the letter is typed up in 2 different types of ink and slightly different color ink.
Please do your research if you are unsure on the check, it also looks legit but when I did call the bank itself which was located correct on the check but the bank did say they do not have blue cashiers checks, the account n check number also didn't match up or they couldn't find it. So yes it was a fake check. Thank you Jesus that I called, because if I was in desperate need and didn't take my time to research and call I would have been scammed again.
If you don't remember applying for the survey or its to good to be true it's cuz it is a scam.
Thank you and I hope this will help keep others from getting scammed.

Here are the other 2 photos of the check and the letter

Several weeks ago I received an email offering me the opportunity to be paid to shop at Whole Foods and then evaluate the customer service I experienced. I heard nothing until today, when I received a cashier's check for $1,370.00 and an sheet of instructions by priority mail. I was to deposit the cashier's check and then purchase two American Express cards for a total of $1,000.00. I called the ScamPulse.com since this was obviously a scam and I wanted to warn others. The personal information they have is my email and address.

Received priority mail with a letter and check for $1,990. The letter asked for me to secretly purchase gift cards and text information to the number/email.

I went to Kroger on 4777 Kenard street at 12: 15 pm and Stood in line on thanksgiving day bought on gift card for 500. 00 . No name tag , was so very polite i asked her name it was Jazz. Left the store smiling due to our interaction. It only took maybe 5 minutes to complete my task. The next store was Kroger 7132 Hamilton ave it was 9 am 11/26/2021. I stood in line at the customer service and Megan waited on me . She was not very engaging but preformed her job was not a enjoyable experience. The task took maybe 10 minutes, There was no eye contact or well wishes. No thank you.

Yes I got the same text and it said I signed up but I didn't. Got a text from someone then today a check instructions.

I received a text message about Whole Foods Research hiring secret shoppers for their co. I responded and filled out a form? Google docs used as reply form. They got my email and phone no. And address. After 2 or 3 days I received text that pkg. was on the way via USPS. Indeed I recd. a USPS tracked envelope with instructions to deposit check enclosed for $1,950.52 and yo purchase 3 Am Exp gift cards for $500 each and send report of where I purchased and description of service , cashier nameetc….to open gift cards and scratch # off back and send pic and sipper report via email to [email protected]. Also package received on Saturday and bonus promised if I executed within 12 hours. Texting had some words used out of the norm which automatically set off alarms in my head. I have not deposited check and do not intend to but I am going to visit local police dept. on Monday to report this and show them texts and letter with all contents. I’m sure if they get pics of actual gift cards sent they could take that money and spend it quickly and then once bank discovers check is fake the money is taken from my account and too late to recover any funds!!
