I purchased Hollywood hair bar in 2001 a week after using it made my hair to become dry and brittle a week after I stopped using it my hair started falling out . still trying to regrow my hair back till this day left an email on the site that they had at the time about the damage it did to my hair didn't get an explanation or answer and the email was removed and never got my money back . I would never tell anyone to use this product or any other products that they have . Sign desperate and hopeless

I bought Hollywood hair oil extra strength and relieved it rather quickly, I never lost my edges but I did have a bald line ubove my hair line, I've been using the serum and my hair IS growing back in that spot, I also have eczema, the first time I used the product my scalp, was a little itchy, but I DON'T use this product every day, I use it probably 2-3 a week, I'm sorry for the Woman who experienced ad reactions, everyone is different, by me having eczema there are so many products I CAN NOT use but this product REALLY works FOR ME, I have NO complaints so far, I will keep everyone updated, So far Thank you Hollywood hair bar.

I haven't seen much growth with the regular serum. I decided to stop because, in my opinion, it's not working. I apply the serum to my scalp and edges.

I ordered 2 serums and only received 1. I did not receive an email with an order number. I’ve been emailing and asked to provide this and provide that to help resolve the issue, however there have been no resolve. This was my fist purchase trying to be supportive and it’s been quite disappointing in the customer service received.

I recieve my bottle of serum bur when i got it there was nothing in it because it WASTED

Iam trying to get in touch with the owner or legal dept thus product is no good All if my hair fell out and my hair is matted to my head I have no leads on who to contact or write just a bunch of text message...This Company socks now I'm bald I can't even Sue..because I have no one to Contact

I purchase some hair Products on 8-10-2021. When I did not receive my items I contacted them by email on 8-20-2021, this is the only way that you can contact them. I received a response saying sorry for the inconvenience of the delay. On 8-22-2021 I received an email stating that my shipment was on the way, on 8-23-2021 I received another email with the tracking number to check the status of the shipment. On 8-26-2021 I received an email from Fed-Ex Smart Post saying the my package was delivered, in which no package was delivered, I have cameras around my house and there was no delivery at all that day, and that I can prove. When I emailed Hollywood Hair Bar, I was told that since the package showed delivered, there was nothing that they can do, and that they were not responsible for lost or stolen packages, and that I had to file the claim with Fed-Ex Smart, so I called Fed-Ex and I was told that the shipper was the only one that can file the Claim, and I know that for a fact. They also told me that the customers have filed their own claims and that is untrue. I work with freight carriers on a daily basis, as a shipper and you have a contract with the carrier; you either re-ship the missing items and file a claim with the carrier for the value of the products. There is no money lost on either part. I believe that the items never shipped, there is some sort of scamming going on with this company. The policy that they have enforced on their page is illegal, it is like you order at your own risk, because you may receive your items, and if they get lost in transaction you are screwed. If the items did ship they are filing the claim and getting the money back from the carrier, in which they have gotten paid twice. I have never seen a company that conducts business this way. They needs to be put out of business.

This actually is not true & FedEx gives everyone the run-around. They tell customers that the shipper has to file a claim & then tell the shipper that the customer has to file a claim. The truth is FedEx tells shippers that once the package says delivered there’s nothing more they can do. FedEx is also notorious for “lost” packages, which their employees are just stealing. Personally I know that as a business there is SO much money lost because of this & after some point, there’s not much more you can do.

i was going to purchase this for me and my 3yo and WHEW! am i glad i came aross this website..i am so glad that i am the type of person to always do my research before making purchases. and i though that this product was supposed to be Organic?

Wow...I too was "SNAPPING FINGER" close to placing an order for me and a family member, but the discount didn't calculate correctly and there was no tally (breakdown.) The website claims 40% under code: BLK40, but it calculates to 30%. Also, the free gift banner says if you spend $50 you get a free gift, but inside the box tyou click it says you must spend $75 for the free gift. I'm so glad I read the reviews, outside of their website. I wouldn't want to deal with the hassle of disputing charges and refunds, etc. I do, however, agree with the dispute methods that another victimmentioned below. You that have been cheated or mislead, should go straight to your credit card company, bank, or PayPal. File a complaint with BBB. If this is a scam company; SHUT'UM DOWN! You shouldn't care if it's a black, white, or purple owned company, WRONG IS WRONG!

Very expensive products but it was worth a “self-care splurge” at first until I realized they’re just another company trying to scam you out of your money. I decided to do a $50 “self-care splurge” which ended up costing me $100. I noticed this company try’s to sell you the “check out extras” in a sneaky way. Well my luck, my screen froze and an additional product was added onto my basket. I couldn’t go back to cancel because it had gone through already. So literally 7 mins later I emailed customer service. They promptly responded telling me, “ Once we receive the order, it is immediately sent out for further processing to make sure that the package gets shipped within 24 hours. Due to which we do not accept any requests for amendments or cancellations.” This order took place Friday night at 830 pm. And within 20 minutes they were aware of the mishaps.
Their scammy marketing tactics to trick people into purchasing their extras, then locking you in permanently to make an extra buck is plain as day now. The worst part is I’m trying to support small businesses out here and at the end of the day, they will still mess you over. I’ll be purchasing my hair serum products from Hair Growth Co. This product works amazingly, smells wonderful, leaves your hair feeling fresh and IT’S Just $10 a bottle. They will get my money from now on!

I had brought two hollywood bar serum, edging cream, and shampoo. Use two of serum for two weeks in half no growth still bald. Thin I wash out with their shampoo my hair was thinning out and breaking out. Use the next product which is the last one the edging l am still bald no hair growth at all. I don't understand why sale a product that will not work. We are losing our money and hair too. It's going to take a God's miracle to fix and heal wasn't been broken.

I'm so sorry. I get it. My scalp was itching and burning and my hair started falling out. I went to a dermatologist who said I had alopecia due to severe stress. I was given injections and I take hair vitamins twice a day. If possible see a dermatologists. Its hard enough to lose hair and then to get scammed is awful!

I would give this a negative zero if I could. Trusted and gave the benefit of doubt. I wish I didn't. The worst product ever made! I wanted so much to believe that the owner was honest when defending her product but oh my! Shame on her for trying to make a quick buck. I spent 2 years rebuilding my hair, it was thick, curls defined and I grew 10 inches. Hollywood hair bar oil, in 4 weeks, took all that growth, love a confidence away. Shame on you! My hair all feel out, it matted, the texture of my hair changed, my curl pattern gone, along with all my length. Please I beg you. Don't buy! I know the owner will be upset, I'm sorry about that, but shame on you. I have no idea those people who are writing good reviews...I don't believe they truly exist. Now I know why they won't refund.

Has anybody used the regular serum and the edge control and if so did it help for a short term treatmemt? cuase i bout a bottle of regular serum and edge control and so far my hair is growing

I ordered the shampoo and bottle of extra strength drops and never received them. It also showing that it was delivered to my mailbox and the tracking number saying its not a working number. I really appreciate it if my orders were delivered because the product is good. If not a refund would be great

This company is a SCAM. Take your money and you won't get your packages nor your money back. Thank God I paid through PayPal and I'm getting my money back. This company has a FAKE phone number no real person to talk to. Somebody needs to do something about this FAKE company!

I would like my money back. They don’t want to refund people their money and they don’t care what happens to people. They hurry and take your money, but don’t want to give it back to you. I don’t like all that money hungry stuff. They are taking advantage of people and I don’t want to be one of them. Someone help me please. I am not sure how to get my money back.

Hopefully you paid thru PayPal. I just had the same problem as you. You should always pay thru PayPal for anything at least your money is protected. Sign up with them. I got my money back. Hope this helps.

I purchased 2 bottles of the hair serum and was given confirmation that the package had arrived to my home. I returned home from work and there was no package. I waited a couple of days and again no package. I emailed the company and I was told my zip code was incorrect. I mentioned in the email that it is the same zip code used as the confirmation of payment zip code which was the code to my home address. They later asked me to contact the post office because they can see where it was shipped to an incorrect zip code. I explained to the provider that the problems error was on the manufacturers end and not mine. Long story short I have 7 emails to the company about refunding my money and I don't believe that they have any intentions on doing so. I should not have to get out here and look for my packages, I should be submitted with a new order since i have not received mines.These products are not cheap and I would like my payment returned to my card. I have done business with them in the past and it was great. This is why I chose to return. I have cut ties with this company and this is an awful way to conduct business. I will now support CANVAS BEAUTY PRODUCTS. I do believe in KARMA !

I purchased a bottle of Hollywood serum they never sent it . I sent a email and they claim it’s at post office talk mail carrier never came never had a ticket for it .

I purchased Hollywood serum order was suppose come 1/19/21 still haven’t received it I sent email they did email me back then I sent other emails to let them know I have not received it now no one replies . I want my money back call the number to only have it go to a voice mail

Yesterday I went to purchase this hair serum they advertise on Instagram. I went on the site and purchased the friendship deal which was 2 bottles of Hollywood Hair serum. After I checked out and paid, the site took me to more pages, after payment, stating that in order to finish I must go through more pages, these pages consist of more offers, literally trying to make you purchase more items, there was a button you press on each page that reads (No Thank You) if you choose to pass on the products, I had to continue to press that button to pass on the products each page. When I got to the final page, I pressed no thank you again and suddenly the button did not work and the site jumped to another page and said order complete after it was already completed. Only this time, I was charged with all the other items and charged far more than the items were priced at. Within 2 minutes I contacted their email because they did not have any other means of contact, and they replied back to me with this email Pasted below...

I did some research to find out that they have scammed many, and the product is dangerous and has caused women's hair to fall out and skin burned. Also, the ingredients are not what they have claimed to be. In my case, they could have fixed the issue because it was just minutes after I ordered. Other complaints customers never received the packages. Hollywood hair use the excuse, the mail lost the package and the customers were never given the promised tracking number. Their site is also missing a lot and is a replica of another site. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS!

Thank you for sharing your story. I saw the product/s advertised on IG, and was thinking about trying it/them. I decided to do some research, which led me here. I'm not sure if you've tried going to their IG page, and leaving a complaint. If you do, you might actually get a response, because no one wants bad publicity to be made public on their social media site/page. Hopefully this helps. I do hope you can get your money back, or some kind of compensation.

Thanks for sharing. I was about to order this product just to see if it works however, I am glad I read your complaint along with many more; these people are just con artists out making a quick buck and it is heartbreaking to know that there are people out there that will stoop that low just to get a dollar from someone...how sad.
