First required 400.00 deposit then as puppy was to be shipped insurance was required 700.00 then as waiting at airport air conditioning required to ship 690.00 then when dog arrived at airport in my state another 1000.00 was required for permits all of this was to be refunded upon puppy arriving at my home was told if I did not pay I would be fined 7800.00 all a scam never saw puppy

I was contacted by the breeder regarding a dachshund puppy. Total cost was $1,000 and that included shipping. Once the process started, the deposit was $300 and the remaining balance was 700 dollars upon delivery of the dog. I paid $300 and the breeder took the dog to a shipper and then I had to pay shipper $360 for an air-conditioned crate. Once arriving in Texas, the shipping company contacting me again stating the dog needed to be quarantined for 2 days and that was another $550. I immediately contacted the seller and told him I could not pay any more money and I believed this was a scam and I was not paying any more money to the shipper, breeder or everyone else. What [censored]!!!

i found Healthy Registered Dachshunds online. got in contact with James who talked to my mom all day, have so much information about the dog, what food she ate, vaccines she’s had, etc. I was skeptical of course so my mom said we would rather wait to pay in person. He was basically like if you think i’m a fake person and would take your money maybe we shouldn’t do this i don’t want someone buying my dog that doesn’t trust me as a person blah blah i would never take adavantage. he lived in Michigan somewhere 7 hours away so he said if we paid an extra 150 he could ship it through express logistics delievery air and he has someone in ohio that delivers the dogs so we said okay, they sent me a tracking number, website, and everything. had that she was checked in and registered well then i received an email that it was placed “on hold” and i emailed them and the same way he talked in message it was the same in the email asking for a crate to be sent and a stress vaccine for the puppy and it was like 2,000 so that’s when i knew it was a fraud. i texted the number back saying i was going to the police department if he didn’t send us our money back and he tried to call like 3 times it’s some man that barely speaks english. We received no dog, they will not return our calls or texts. they made a fake website with fake phone numbers scammed us out of our money through Zelle.
