God is Dope Reports & Reviews (23)

I ordered in Dec 2022, it said orders will take 2-4 weeks and still nothing. No response to emails. Nothing, it has to be a scam at this point. Where is the tracking? I just want my money back.

The scammer (said he name was james) contacted me via direct message on Instagram. They said I won $200 via cash app, a free t-shirt, and a hoodie. They got my name, cellphone number, and an address (and asked for my cash app info. They also asked for a 4 digit pin that I used frequently - specifically a number I wouldn’t forget. They texted me a link to send them back. The text told me the enclosed link should not be sent to anyone else. When I questioned the scammer on it, he said I was selected at random. It didn't feel right so I started to decline. It was too late. The scammer sold all of my stocks on cash app ($767 worth) and started to pull money out of my main account. They took a total of $7,200! Luckily Cash app and my bank got my money back, but I'm disgusted they would use a God is Dope front for something like this. They will get theirs in the future.

The scammer contacted me via direct message on Instagram. They said I won $200 via cash app, a free t-shirt, and they were including a hat. They got my name, cellphone number, and an address (I gave my work address) and asked for my cash app info. They also asked for a 4 digit pin that I used frequently - specifically a number I wouldn’t forget. They texted me a link to send them back. The text told me the enclosed link should not be sent to anyone else. When I questioned the scammer on it, they tried to ask for it repeatedly at first nicely, then more in a demanding way and told me it was alright because it was my first time winning a sweepstake and when I declined they immediately hung up on me. My mother just died last week, and I thought someone was showing me a kindness after I posted about her upcoming home going service. I’m heartbroken!

So sorry for your loss! The sane thing happened to me earlier today. I started questioning him like crazy and he hung up and blocked me on social media. It's sad the things people are doing for money.

I received the attached DM via Instagram that I had won a contest with God Is Dope. I felt suspicious right off the bat, so before providing any of the requested info I googled to see if there were any scam alerts . I stumbled upon this site with the other claims. Looks like I dodged a bullet.

On feb 8 god is dope posted on there story that this was happening be more aware

At this point I am fed up with this company. I have placed my order on November 13 and I have not received it yet or got my refund back (the only refund I got was the shipping refund not the refund for the cost for the product). I contacted them multiple times through email, they replied once or twice but stop responding to me now.

It is now 2 months and I still have not received my order

On October 30 I received a notification via Instagram that I had received some items through a giveaway. I’m familiar with the company God Is Dope because I shop with them on a frequent basis. The scammer asked for my contact information so he could call me, while on the phone with him I noticed my Cashapp moving and I received a message that my Cashapp was disabled. The person started requesting money from my contacts and was successful in stealing money from my family members. I have continuously reached out to Cashapp to shut that account down because I’ve had friends and family members send me money and because they are not aware of the situation. I have requested refunds on their behalf as well as sent numerous messages to Cashapp it’s very disappointing my personal opinion Cashapp needs to be looked into ad well

Purchased 2 shirts on July 13, 2020. The website stated orders would be delayed 2-3 weeks due to Covid. At the 3 week mark you were eligible for a refund for your shipping. I reached out to this company first asking for my shipping to be refunded after a month of waiting with no response. I then reached out again asking that an update of my order be provided. During this time I have seen various people on social media stating they ordered and received their merchandise in a reasonable timeframe. It has been 2 months and they are not returning emails or answering phone calls. I have even reached out via IG and my comments have been deleted from posts.

God is dope is the ultimate scam! Their customer service is the worse I have ever, ever, ever experienced. They create a shipping label the same day they draft your payment after your order is placed. Then...you never receive your order. They ignore emails and dm's on IG. I have filed a complaint with the BBB also and requested a full refund from my bank. How pathetic and desperate for money they must be...to use the LORD my GOD's name in a purely deceptive manner. They need to be stopped asap.

I placed an order with this company about a month ago and never received my order, it hasn't even been processed. I have tried multiple times to speak with someone but there is no number to call and the "owner" is not responding to emails or the 100s of social media comments from people having the same issue.

? SCAM ? PLEASE SHARE... so I received a DM from @godisdope apparel (see attached) and I had won a bundle of clothing & $100 (see attached) the guy called me today to tell me how the company has been around for 5-years - how their business has been successful so they give 10-15% of their income to nonprofits and local churches (how they support minorities) by being a black-owned business and he wanted to send everything in the picture to me minus the boots. He said how well the business is going and wanted to “bless” me with $100. He confirmed my cashapp, but also asked by phone number or email. I was confused so he asked me if the number he dialed was my cashapp, I said yes and received a text - the guy immediately stated I just texted you 6 numbers (I have no idea how he knew the first one was a 4) and I repeated the number. Something didn’t feel right, so I started deleting my bank account and check card linked to my cashapp while I was giving the guy my sizes. I asked him why did he need to confirm how my cash app was linked (remember he’s talking fast abt God, giving, successful business, my sizes for clothes etc.) he then states - I sent it ($) to you did you get it? I said no, because I don’t see it. He said that’s strange do you have a cashapp credit card? I said no. He said Im not allowed to take credit cards over the phone but can you confirm the last 12-number on the card linked in the system? I said what? He said I just need you to confirm the card number so I can get the money to you. I hung up. FIRST OFF - my cashapp wasn’t working properly & it hasn’t TO THIS DAY! SECONDLY - I felt stupid, how did I just get hoaxed into giving this guy my code to get into my cashapp THIRDLY-they are making claims they don’t know what’s going on, but are scamming people DAILY & LASTLY — THEY ARE TARGETING CHRISTIANS & USING GOD’s NAME! I’m INFURIATED ??? they didn’t steal any money from me, but he blocked me from his @godisdope customer service account & here is his number...

Godisdope company contacted me via Instagram DM about winning a promotion. I unfortunately fell for the scam that I would get a package of clothes and $200. They sent me the link for cash app. Instead of giving they tried to take hundreds of dollars from me. Thankfully my bank put a fraud alert up immediately. I have to fight for $50 that did go through. The guy said how dare you accuse me, hung up, then blocked me on the phone and thru Instagram. I reported them on Instagram and Facebook.

They contacted me saying I won a sweepstakes and proceed to call and ask for my address and to verify my phone number and shirt size to send the products as well as my cash app name. Then they had me read the message. They sent twice hung up and blocked my account so I couldn’t report them.

God is Dope (Instagram site) had a Black Friday special going on he day after Thanksgiving. Each item was $9.99 -$14.99. I purchased 7 items (combination of T-shirt’s, sweatshirts, and hats). I purchase on 11/29. On 12/5, I received a confirmation email that my order is being processed. On, 12/2, a tracking number was created with USPS in Atlanta. The email with tracking number had information regarding a tracking app (Arrive) that I can use to track my items. There has been no movement of this order. The tracking number is 9405510200864859483867. I emailed the above email address on 12/20 requesting an update on my order. They stated that all prefers from Good Friday sale will arrive before Christmas. Then proceeded to refer me to another website to address needs: delayed [email protected] and [email protected]. I learned via Instagram that many other people are experiencing this same problem.

They had said that I was their Christmas giveaway winner of $1,000 and in addition their God is Dope merchandise. When I got the call from the gentleman he said that this is legitimate and he just wanted me to send the name of my cashapp and he would handle the rest when I provided it to him somehow I got locked out of my account and we were still on the phone and when I tried to get back to my account. He said just wait 30 seconds and everything should be back to normal which was not true. He basically took over my cashapp account and took my money. Hey

I was contacted via Instagram about a prize of a God is Dope shirt and $200 (holiday promotion) I was asked for my shipping info and my cash app name to receive my prize... needless to say while I was on the phone with “God is Dope” my bank account was fully depleted of all funds and left with a negative balance. I have contacted my bank, Cashapp, Instagram, as well as Facebook (they are listed there) nothing can be done at this point (a week before Christmas) so now I’m going to speak with my boss who’s an attorney to see what can be done .

On September 21st I entered a contest on Instagram which was being advertised by a Godis_678. The contest stated you could enter to win a t-shirt and hat gift set along with $100. All I had to do was tag three friends and that the winners would be notified on September 22nd. I was notified via direct message that I won and asked to send my information over so my prize could be mailed to me. I sent over the requested information along with my contact number. I get a call at 5:48pm from a guy congratulating me on winning. He asked to confirm my size. I was asked to choose a for digit code for delivery. Then asked to like 10 pictures and comment. This demonic being stole $305 dollars out of my cash app account on a Sunday. Please protect yourselves. I have alerted the authorities but I'm still out of $300 bucks as this investigation is pending.

I recently made to purchases through god is dope. Purchased two T-shirt’s and a hat. I received my order with no issues than a day later I received two messages from two different people claiming that I won $200 and a T-shirt. The message stated to send my name, address, and phone number. It also asked me to send my cash app name. The first message I ignored and the second message I responded to just by simply sending me cash app name. The person behind the email suggested to send my phone so I did. Basically wanted to see what this prize was about this man called and conned me. Somehow this person taped into my cashapp account and sent money to a Frjrjjrnrm. This person took $300.00 out my account. As the my email was going off and text messages from my bank, The bank placed a stop on my card, The number that this person called from was 810-969-0035. Thanks to my bank, they were able to stop the action from going any further. I’m beyond upset if this is something that this company is doing.
