It was in conjunction with the DHHS name of the person was Dave Johnson my Aunt told me about it I went into the site she sent a link the guy asked a bunch of personal questions like name address gender he also wanted a picture he finally told me i could get 50,000 but i needed to pay 1,050 to get i told that i didn't Even make that much a month I asked him if he would take it out of the 50,000 and send me the rest he said that it was not a loan but a grant and needed the fee upfront because it was for all the paperwork that gets sent with the money that you need when you put the money in the bank I even tried to see about a lesser amount of 10,000 and he wanted 200 upfront for that I finally blocked him and told him to delete all my personal information he even had a picture of my house asking if it was my place of residence

I was contacted by a friend on messenger. She said that I should check with Agent David Lucas, at the DHHS, about a grant that I might qualify for. I contacted him and was told I qualified for at least $160,000. I filled out all his questions and even showed my credit card. Then was told I had to go to Walmart and but 5 $500 gift cards. That's when it hit me it was a scam. The gift cards were to cover a delivery fee. They are hacking into Facebook accounts and sending messages to their friend lists. I had to cancel my credit card.

A friend of mine reached out to me over FaceBook mesanger and told me about the DHHS government grant for $100,000 that I could use for my bills. He told me to send him $700 in Apple Gift Cards and to send him a copy of my ID. I did andsent him pictures of the gift cards. Then he said I had to send another $500 wirth of Apple Gift Cards and I told him I didn't have the money and no one would lend it to me.

I GAVE HER $1,500.00 IN GIFT CARDS FOR A $50,000.00 GRANT AND THEN A DAY LATER SHE WANTED $5,000.00 MORE AND I TOLD HER THAT I WAS ALREADY SCAMMED FOR $3,500.00 AND I DIDN'T HAVE ANYMORE MONEY TO GIVE HER AND SHE CONTINUE TO SAY SHE WORKED FOR THE GOVERNMENT AND SHE'S NEVER SCAMMED ANYONE OUT OF THEIR MONEY> I ASKED HER TO SEND ME ALL MY MONEY BACK TO ME AND I WOULD FILE ON HER WITH FBI. SHE SAID THAT I COULDN'T DO THAT BECAUSE SHE WAS THE GOVERNMENT. ALL I REALLY WANT IS TO GET MY MONEY BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE>

This lady said I had money coming to me. They wanted my credit card number.

To Whom It May Concern:

Beginning on 5/16/22, I was given a website link for Agent Sandra *******, Government organization, posing as a representative of Department of Health Human Services (DHHS) assisting citizens in applying for grants/monetary aid.

https://m.facebook.com/Agent-sandra-Bulloc*****************/

Agent ******k asked for information; name, address, D.O.B, cell no. occupation, rent or own, gender and salary. She claimed to have verified the information and submitted the form. She let me know verification was successful. Informed me the winning money was $200,000 and that I would have to pay $5000.00 to claim it, but said because what happened recently with another Agent Smith ******, I would have to pay $3000.00. She claimed paperwork had been signed. I replied that I didn’t have that kind of money, I did come up with the fee. I sent the $3000 in increments of $500.00 Apple gift cards on 5/17/22. They were photographed and sent via face book messenger. Sandra informed me about three hours later that she was only able to verify $1000.00 of the $3000.00. Apple cards were sent again in increments of $500.00 totaling $2000.00. Told by Sandra not to get Apple, but American Express gift cards, paid on 5/20/22. Sandra Bullock, then claims to be trying to contact me via my cell phone but it wasn’t going through, didn’t happen. She claims that the drivers were on their way, which wasn’t true. Says that escorts had to be provided, then changes story to no escorts available, delivery will have to be next day. On 5/21/22 Sandra claims that escorts wanted $2500.00 to deliver the money, I replied, don’t have the money. Then I needed to come up with $1000.00 for escort they would pay the rest. 5/22/22 no delivery made. June 02/22 delivery was supposed to have been made, drivers couldn’t make it because traffic was terrible. She contacts me via messenger on 6/05/22, I know you have your winning money by now. I responded no, she replied, “you have to be kidding.” Delivery was supposed to have been made again on 6/17/22, but I was never informed about it. These deliveries that were taking place, Sandra claims I wasn’t home. I did make myself available when told there would be a delivery.

Received message from my friend through Facebook messenger. She received $50k from the government and she said I could too. Asked to call her and she said she could not speak because she had throat surgery but she could call her at 586-315-5441. This is not her number. Gave me information to speak to DHHS and spoke to agent Al Peterson. He gave me options and said that I could get $50,000 grant but had to pay $500. Said I had to talk with husband. Never called back after speaking to ***.

I get these messages all the time and I don't ever apply for government grants or anything they say they are giving away free cause nothing in this world is free especially $20,000 you don't have to pay back with everything the way it's going right now our government is on a budget and if a grant that high say it was legit it's going to go to someone who actually qualifies for the grant so for example if you need help cause your Disabled and about to be homeless and you apply for the government grant and you were approved that's because you qualified cause you have a disability about to be homeless or both I don't trust these messages I get sent to me on Messenger off Messenger on other media's even my email message I ask them to show me proof I still don't apply or fall for it please don't fall for it either you guys I asked my friend what did you get with your 20,000 his answer was he responded back texting in a godly manner I spoke to him 2 days ago and we been friends for 8 years and never once has he talked in a godly manner he's always cussing so really know your friends if you know how they talk you will know if it's a scam or not and this is a scam

They completely hacked and now control my original Facebook page

They asked for copies of my state issued ID front and back

They had me change my two step Facebook verification then provide to them the info so they could supposedly secure my Facebook account

They asked me not to give Facebook info to anyone else

They sent cities in Facebook messenger chat of where I living including cross streets and actual pictures of my current hoodie to which I live

I’ve received a message from one of my friends on Facebook. I went to check it out and it was a link. I really thought it was real so I checked it out and they said they would help me with school. I don’t know how but supposedly friend convinced me. I bought 11 Apple Cards all in different days and with different money amounts. Everyday for a about a week they would ask for payments and I feel like it just wasn’t me I don’t know what happened. Once I realized my friend was hacked and it wasn’t her. I panicked and called 911 and the bank. They said they would get back to me but no one helped me. I’m very worried because that money were my savings from school. I HOPE THIS DOESN’T HAPPEN TO NO ONE ELSE. BE CAREFUL WITH FAKE AND FALSE INFORMATION.

Scammer pretending to be someone from my church to get me to fill out my information from a secondary cell phone text... Wanting me to fill out my information.

The scam comes by a Facebook “friend”… the account has been hijacked to appear to be one of your trusted friend. Using the name as “Mark Patrick” as the agent for DHHS. It claims that you can apply for the grant by this link and give your birthday, email address, and phone number. It looks really real and they almost got me- they have my birthday and email address. This is not real! It is a scam and you are trusting because you probably could use the money. The scam says pay a delivery fee from FedEx and receive you check. SCAM. SCAM. SCAM!!!!

DHHS is a legitimate government agency. Going to this website looked official. You put in your information and towards the end they tell you that you are approved for $20,000.00 and to text a number to Brett Giroir and give a phone number and he will complete your application.

At this point I suspected fraud and was sorry I had given so much information. People are taking advantage of the desperation others in a desperate time.

They asked me to provide all my info. Name, address, email, phone number, occupation, monthly income, copy of my ID. Said i was approved for a 45,000 grant. Only had to pay a fee of 400. To get the money. I found the info from a friend on facebook.

I just recently started using FACEBOOK. A very kind and honest friend from work started interacting with me. He told me he had just won a grant and that I should apply. He had a lady that would as I

Understood help me fill out a request for a grant. Not believing him at first I accused him of pulling my leg. Long story short I gave the lady all my data age, address, income, and a picture of my driver's license.

I feel like an [censored] but my friend whose Facebook account was used is someone I trust and like very much. I didn't give them any money nor was I asked to but I gave them way to much information. One thing to look for is their grammar after awhile of interacting with them as my friend the grammar got worse and worse. At first I thought it just my friends verbiage but the more I pushed it the worse they got. But it was too late by then I gave them enough information to probably sell. They didn't ask for any processing fees and being suspicious I didn't open any links sent to me. I do feel like an [censored] for not realizing it was a scam right away. Now I know hope it`s not too late.

I received a Facebook Messenger from DHHS.Department of Housing. Offering a $50,000 Government Grant. $1200 fee for a $20,000 grant. Their phone number is 641-715-7587. I did not send any money. I know it is a scam. The Government does not ask for money.
