I received a check $1940. Was instructed to keep $440, & purchase 3 $500 AMEX gift cards at 3 locations & report my experience. I did not sign up for this, and do not own an AMEX card. I will turn this onto the Postmaster in my city.

Hello,

I received a cashiers check for the amount of $1,950.52 in the mail along with a letter congratulating me for my achievement. The letter states It contains my first Secret Survey assignment and the funding is to be used for the assignment and survey. The check covers the assignment bills, evaluation costs and survey service commission payment of $400. My instructions include with a text giving them my full name, amount received and Bank Name on the check. It then goes to tell me to deposit the check. I will receive a bonus if I deposit the check within 12 hours $250 bonus to be earned. My assignment is to purchase $1,500 of American Express Gift Cards or Vanilla Gift Card. I wanted to report this scam. Thanks

We received a Priority Mail envelope USPS with a cashier’s check for $2850.00 and instructions to deposit said check into our account within 24 hours and complete a purchase of AMEX cards for 2500.00. Then we were take a picture of the front and back of cards, then text that to the listed phone number. We were to include our shopping experience facts as well, as listed by answering specific questions on the instruction sheet.
