D2 Management Reports & Reviews (21)

I got daily texts from D2 regarding a supposed debt. When I called they would not give or mail any details of the debt without the last four digits of my SSN. I gave other details like address, email and birthday, but they said couldn't identify debt without my SSN.

I did not give my SSN, and told them any legitimate collections agency by law has 5 days after initial contact to mail debt information.

BEWARE! This is a scam to get your ID!

Lady named Amanda called from a number using my area code. Wanted me to verify last 4 digits of ssn. Told me I owed from a pay day loan. And said I last gave payment In 2019 for a certain amount. Then stated if I don't pay than another company called D2 FINANCIAL would be dealing with me if I don't pay. I asked if they were affiliated with each other and they said no. None of it made sense good thing I checked this website and read all the reviews which sounds just like how my phone call went.

A woman called me asking for personal information like a social or a DOB. When I started asking about who she was, she got very rude and hung up on me. I called back from a neighbor's phone, amd finally got the company name out of her, but she was still very rude. She said they were debt collectors. The weird thing is, their website shows all great reviews, and the ScamPulse.com is full of horrible reviews. I have never seen a debt collector do business in this way, or have such an unprofessional attitude. I am pretty sure this is a scam, even though they are answering the ScamPulse.com complaints like they are not a scam. Seems like people have actually paid them, and either are still getting harassed or are still having payments coming off of the card they paid with.

I received two calls from the number with my area code. This is a new scam of a caller id having a local area code tricking recipients into answer the call. They tried to trick me into giving up my mother's social security number and birthdate. They are very savvy and scarring you into thinking this is legit. Don't fall for it. Hang up and block the number (although they'll probably be able to contact you again from another caller id number). It took me quite a few times of asking where they were from for them to finally say "D2 Management." Beware/do not talk to them or fall for this scam.

I received a call from D2 Management from a Texas phone number 682 204 6239. I do not know if this company is based in Texas but the call was from a Texas number.

They claim this is a bill collection but would not tell me what it involved without me verifying the last 4 digits of my SSN, which I refused to do. I don't know how the obtained my phone number or personal information, but I told them if they want to contact me, and if they have my information, they can mail me the invoice. I don't do business with companies I don't recognize over the phone.

I was scammed by another company year ago saying they were collecting for another company and I am not falling for that again.

I just received the same type of phone call today from a Ms. Jones. The caller ID came up (814) 281-1329 and said Morrisdale, PA.

She wanted me to verify the last 4 of my social or my birth date. When I declined to confirm either she told me to give them a call back when I was ready to confirm my information because they had received some "information" on me at their office.

Funny thing is another number called me last week claiming the same thing.

I set up payments with this company just to find out what they're saying I owed and to who I owed was a lie. I unfortunately paid out $935 because there was a debt that I owed. I called to verify I was done with those payments after 9 mths and that's when I was told I owe $1800 which is 100% incorrect. The woman yelled at me and threatned me with action over the phone. She would not verify the so called agreement I agreed to when I know I never agreed to pay $1800. Do not give D2 management a dime. They are a scam and chase will not help me out or refund my money.

Same. They got $935 from me

I unfortunately set up a payment plan for an old debt with this "company" yet I've had to call them 3 different times because they dont seem to understand how i get paid and keep trying to debit on wrong dates! Then i spoke with a girl that kept repeating that i made an agreement? The agreement i made that they can't follow? she said she was transferring me to a supervisor then never transferred the call and sat and eavesdropped on a conversation I was having while I thought I was on hold! I kept hearing her come back on the line saying wow just wow! when I told her supervisor she was very rude like it's ok for them to invade my privacy

Called and said there last four of my ssn asking me to verify it. Said they were from D2 management and had papers from their office for me. Sounds like a scam, d2 is in the bbb with hundreds of complaints, I don’t know if they are pretending to be d2 or what but they seem like a scam

I was called repeatedly by a place called D2 management. They did not leave messages usually but one message I got said that they were trying to deliver legal papers so I obviously called back to see what was going on. Apparently they also called my ex and my exes best friend which was embarrassing enough.

When I called back they demanded my social which I was always told never to give out... I was told that I had an outstanding payday loan out with Ace Cash Express...I'm 100% certain I've never gotten a payday loan because it's not legal in AZ. I have gotten title loans but I asked the operator and they said specifically it was a payday loan which is what first got me suspicious. The second thing that caught my attention is when they stated I had this outstanding balance I was shocked because if anyone has gotten a loan you know the day you are late they are continuously calling for payment. . When I asked to be sent proper documentation they said they could not provide that. Unprofessional??? How are you going to collect a debt you cannot provide proof of? Super rude people also...I told the operator I would pay in installments because of the pandemic I've gotten little to nothing as income goes. I have made 2 payments so far. My third and final is about to hit....however, after my first payment hit...my bank account was hacked...my card information was stolen and money was withdrawn out of an ATM while I was working with the card in my pocket. I have a police report for the funds that were stolen but now I feel like D2 management may have had something to do with this. I called ace cash express and told them my concerns. They gave me the number to their head quarters to discuss this further before continuing to make payments towards a balance I do not remember with D2 management. Please before paying anything to these people do your research and make sure you are provided with the proper paperwork.

This D2 Management has called at all hours. When I answer, they ask me to verify my name, address, and social security number. They will not tell me anything or answer my questions other than they are D2 Management. NO business should be calling me in the middle of the night, nor should they be calling me repeatedly throughout the week to the point i have blocked multiple numbers. I did not give this caller a chance to scamp me or anyone in my household. I hope this helps to prevent someone else who may not understand not to give your social out over the phone to random callers.

I received a text from my neighbor stating that a person named Jazz left a message looking for me. I checked my call log and saw the same number tried to call me too but did not leave a message (it was a local number). When I called the number a woman answered and I told her someone tried to call me from this number. She was able to give me my name and told me she was from D2 Management. I told her it was very inappropriate to call my neighbor and then she asked me to verify my social so she could look up my information and I told her I wasn't verifying anything over the phone. I asked if she sent me anything in the mail. She said no and I told her I will not discuss anything on the phone and reiterated how inappropriate it was to call my neighbor. She said okay then and I hung up.

D2 management calls from a local number not an 800 number demanding I verify my name and social, I ask what it’s about and decline to verify my ssn due to scams. She said she needs to discuss documents in her office I ask again what is it in regards to, they refuse to say. I asked several times for documents to be sent by mail if it’s a valid debt. They claim to not send anything in writing, I advised if the debt collection is vaild all agencies send notices via mail. I was hung up on 3 calls after back to back.

I got a call from this number which I am sure is not the real number. They were asking for "Name, Lastname", I said that's my husband, may I ask what this is about? They said they were D2 Management and are a collections agency and they had some business to discuss with my husband. They asked if these 4 numbers were the last of his SSN and they clearly were not. I do know his SSN. They then proceeded to ask if the address was "#### Street Name". We haven't lived at that address in 5 yrs. So I knew something was not right. I didn't tell them we had moved. If they were legit place they would know we had moved and had the right name and SSN. I asked to know who the debt was with and if they could tell me the amount the claim is for. The agent said due to the fact that the SSN was wrong and address they couldn't disclose any information due to privacy. But they can call my number and ask for my husband? They said they were sending the claim back to the Client. From what I see in the negative reviews for this company they are sketchy. Be careful what you do with these people.

Demanded payment for debt that was previously paid off two years ago. Made verbal threats. I have documentations proving payoff and they asked me to send to them.

- Portland, OR, USA

They keep calling and asking for information from me about who I am. Won’t disclose why. I think they were trying to record me. So I hung up.

Received a call today from D2 Managment this number 6143693575 attempting to collect on an alleged unpaid cash advance from 2003. I told them I had no idea what they were talking about and that I did not have any outstanding debt. They refused my request to send something in writing detailing the collection. Lady was very forward. Yelling at me over the phone..Even had my SSN Scary!!! I don't owe this debt. Scam!!

Company contacted me starting I owed them and to verify my information. I know to check out company to see if they are legit. I can't find anything about them. So I hung up. I called them back to see if it was a new legit company and the name changed. Whensked for the phone and address they provided a p.o. box. Further investigating has shown they are located at 2894 Argent Blvd. Ridgecrest, SC 29936. I asked for the owner Nathan Dzendzel who called back threatening harassment because I'm requesting their information. By law, they should provide this. Further they must show proof of debt. None of which they provided. The calls are recorded and you should subpoena them to show how they attempt to defraud people.

- Cincinnati, OH, USA

They called me and asked me to confirm the last four of my social security number on 12-7-16 around 3:55pm and they said its attempt to collect a debt and they told me what the debt was from, they knew at some time I owed a debt, then they asked me to prove that I had paid this off, and I told her ma'am I don't have proof at this time. They said Ill put you down that you were unwilling to cooperate. Then they said they will send me a final notice before any legal actions are taken, and they asked for email to send that to me. Eisha (spelling?) was her name and said she was with DC Management. I called her back and they wouldn't give me to a supervisor. 513-906-6191
