I bought a puppy online for $750. The day of delivery we were contacted by a shipping company saying the company did not provide proper travel carriers for the puppy and that we had to pay 1800 more dollars in order to get the puppy here legally, and safely. He refused to take a credit card would only except zelle . Once I spoke to the gentleman on the phone, he told me that he was going to be charged with abandonment, and that he was going to report me to the authorities for abandoning a puppy at the airport. When I called him out on it, they quit communicating with me.
Agree.. these are scammers

I found a puppy for sale on a web page. Note, I bought a puppy from a breeder 4 years ago, via. web page. I inquired about purchase. At first, everything was legit. Then is wasn't. They didn't charge extra for breeding rights, or shipping, couldn't tell me who the parents (sire and dam) were, wanted the money wired, not a check as is usual, said they could deliver the puppy to my door (doesn't work that way. they are shipped via airlines and you pick them up at the airport). They aren't native English speakers so all this raised flags. I asked them some direct questions that a breeder would understand and be happy to share. Then they began calling me names. I have the entire e-mail thread saved.

I contacted a website for Dachshund puppies called Brian's Dachshunds and inquired about two of the puppies he had on his website. When I contacted him and asked him to send me additional pictures of the puppies he insisted that I send him 1,100.00 immediately by money gram to hold the puppies. I said I would like additional pictures of the puppies and also want to see their AKC registration forms to prove he had these puppies before I would send any money because the website was shady to me with the way he worded things and gave different information on the health guarantee that didn't add up. So he just kept telling me to send the money to him by money gram and said I would have to pay for his professional shipper which is an additional 250.00 but if I paid for the puppies right now with money gram he would waive the shipping fee because he has three coupons from his shipper to use to ship three puppies for free. He would not answer any of my questions about the puppies and would not email me any updated pictures or show me the AKC registration forms that he claimed he had he just kept sending me back emails to send him the money and he will contact his shipper but would never answer my questions or request for pictures and forms. I told him I would rather use PayPal so that I have proof of payment for the puppies then he got mad and sent me an email calling me a nerd then told me I was boring those were the answers I got back from him. Thank God I didn't send him my money.
