I inquired about a female puppy by text message to the seller on Facebook. Was shown a picture of female puppy and was told I needed to put down refundable reserve of $350 if I wanted her. I sent $300 electronically through Zelle at my bank with the notation it was for female puppy. Then asked to take a screen shot of the transaction and send it via Message at facebook. Her true colors than showed when she said I was not supposed to make a notation because $ would be held back for 8 days at her bank. Next she wanted me to send $300 more because she could not get the items to go home with the dog her bank account was frozen. I told her I could not do that and she wanted a generic gift card. Again I refused. In the meantime I was to take a picture of my license and send that to her. Then she wanted $ to file the necessary paperwork..again refused. Told her I would wait a week til her money cleared and she would have the $.

Then she wanted more money because the puppy would be there a week longer and she needed to buy food for the dog...and oh by the way I need a copy Of your social security number for the paperwork. I told her I was through with her to send me my refund and she could keep her puppy ( which I do not believe was real). She said I need your social security number to send you a check. I told her I would report her and her scheme.

Please do not let anyone else get dragged into this scam.
