Representative attempted to gather full account numbers of 3 capital one credit cards, by offering to drop APR on existing balances. Rep claimed to work gor company that "does all the billing" capital one, discover, chase and other wrll known banking institutions. When asked for account numbers i immediatly shut down the conversation and called capital one directly and verified that this person was in fact not a legitimate capital one employee. They also called from capital ones actual fraud dept #888-464-0727 and 800-239-7054. We didn't give them any info and replaced the cards they were asking about in an abundance of caution.
