They contacted my parents and threatened them that I would go to jail in 30 days, they left an 866-903-0656 number for me to call back so I did and they hung up on me when I wouldn’t give them any identifying information about myself. They initially called my parents from 319-300-3032 but when I called that number back it said it was disconnected.

They called telling me I took a loan out through EZ money through an old employer back in 2014. Now I needed to pay it today or I would be going to court in 35-40 days. I never knew of any loan we took out. Then the woman said the papers were filed in 2019.

Called and asked for me by name and gave the last 4 digits of my social security number and stated someone in my county filed a complaint that they will be taking me to court for money that is owed to a loan company i never heard of let alone take a loan out for $2900.00 and threatened me stating that they were a attorneys office. The company that i supposedly took a loan out from was called EZMoney. I had never taken a loan out. The women on the phone was nasty with a horrible attitude and got rude when i asked questions. I don't want anyone to experience this scam and stress themselves out over owing someone money. Not right at all this needs to be stopped.
