I called the number listed on a text sent to me. It is the number listed in this report. This was for a supposed medical procedure done in 2014 by a hospital that has since gone through bankruptcy. I spoke with a "Ms Parker" at extension 401. She did not confirm who she was representing, what her company was, nor was able to provide me with Debt Validation Letter. In Georgia the statute of limitations for medical debt is 6 years, this was 12 years ago and I still am unable to determine if it is a true debt or not. Ms Parker was able to provide me my last 4 of my ssn, the insurance used, which all of this is public record or easily obtained through the various data breaches in the past. She threatened me saying they would garnish my wages, well I am long retired and federal statutes and codes states you cannot garnish SSA retirement payments for medical debt. There has not been any action or documentation sent to me regarding this debt, invoice, or bill within the past 12 years.
