They called me twice telling me my card had been used to purchase stuff online and they thought it was faulty. But I don't have a card from Wells Fargo, never have and never will. They had my name, birthdate, phone number, and home address. Once I told them I don't have a CC with Wells Fargo they asked me who I do have a card with and what type of phone I am using. (both pieces of information I did not share with them). They got really mad when I would not confirm my name and address, I just kept saying "okay", and they told me I had to say "yes" to proceed. I told them if there was an issue with the card they could close the account, and they asked me for the account number. I told them to "go pound salt" (but in different words).
