I filled out a form expressing interest for a phone sales job posted on Instagram. Within an hour, someone got in touch with me and basically pressure interviewed me to join up with Concepts for Sales. He rushed me through a multi-interview process where he and his teammate promised me that I could make several thousand dollars a month. They also wanted me to get a credit card on Venmo or Apple Pay to get them to loan me $10k for training materials, saying that they would pay me back if I managed to schedule enough potential customers into a meeting with them. It sounded deeply suspicious to me, so I made an excuse to get off the zoom call before I signed the contract they wanted me to sign (on the same day they met me), cancelled the credit card they had me sign up for, and ghosted them.
