Applied for what looked to be an amazon work at home job on indeed.com. Company's name on indeed showed as FSR Inc. (which is an actual US company). I was contacted by an Elisabeth, through indeed, stating my resume was a match and to contact viktor, from 5stars.market (a Russian company) for the next steps. I contacted Viktor and he later called me with a Los Angeles phone number. Viktor was nice and friendly and sent me a contract and w4 form right away. He then stated he needed a good resolution of my driver license as a jpg file. Not a copy and not a small resolution picture. He also wanted to make sure I was a citizen. After a few phone calls where I asked him more questions about the company (like tax ID, how direct deposit would be set up, etc etc), he started just hanging up on me. Didnt return any phone calls or emails after that.
